Came here after a concert around 10:30pm. One of the very few pho spots open on. Tuesday night. The place is SUPER small. There’s only about 4-6 tables in there if that. Prompt and extremely friendly service by the owner who affectionately calls himself “Uncle Sam”. The biggest con I have which I docked a star was the $15 pp minimum. It was only me and my teenage son and I wanted pho before driving 2 hrs back to DE, he ate at the concert and was tired and not hungry. We were forced with the rule and ultimately paid $15 for 6 chicken wings. Yes they were good, but I don’t like a forced minimum for a casual restaurant like this. Nonetheless, the pho was amazing!! Some of the best I had. But they serve it in a large bowl and only fill it up halfway. 95% of the pho I eat with similar price point, I get way more and I can’t even finish the bowl. Side condiments were fresh. Table condiments could’ve been more fresh/clean but it’s Philly, it was late, and I didn’t expect Michelin service. Uncle Sam is a gem and so sweet. Although the food was good, I don’t think I’d return based off of portion size. Again, be mindful of the $15 minimum in case you bring children or someone who didn’t plan on eating much. There’s 20% gratuity for large parties although idk where you’d sit. Btw the “super hot” sticker is not lying. I love chili sauce in my pho, this one looked sketch so I only put a dab in and boy I was on fire, sniffling and all. Beware!

Food is decent, with lots of personalized touch. The special was chicken curry for today, which my husband thought was just okay and with similar flavors to Japanese curry. I, on the other hand, loved my broken rice platter with grilled pork chop and fried egg. The fish sauce is just right with the flavor. The chili oil on the table was SPICY, but adds even more flavor to the dish. I even bought chefs own chili oil to bring home with. The environment makes you feel like you’re a guest in someone’s home. The owner Sam engages with everybody in the restaurant. We’ll definitely come back!

I ordered the P3 Pho with rare eye round steak, well done flank and brisket from this place and it was the worst bowl of pho I have ever seen in my 30 years of eating pho on the regular. Couple pieces of eye round steak, 3 pieces of flank. 1 piece of brisket. The saddest looking sprigs of browned basil and dried old beansprouts. The veggies lowkey look like they took whatever was left over from another customer’s plate and gave them to me. Charging $18 for this is deplorable. There are other places in the city that serve you way better quality and quantity for $16. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

It’s very cute and the server there is very friendly. First place I went to that has a decent amount of spice in their chili oil. I went there with my friend a few days ago and she’s a spice fiend, she added almost half of the chili oil. The server was so concerned.

The food was very good. The noodles were very soft but the tendons were kind of hard to chew on.

It was a rainy day when we went so it has a nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Though they do have a policy that each person must have over $15, my friend and I shared a bowl and he made an exception for us. We will come again!!

The staff here are SOOOOOO NICE! Our server was Julien and they were really chill to chat with late in the evening. This is one of my favorite places for pho in Chinatown cause the vibes are PRISTINE, staff are wonderful and hard working, and the food is great! We tried a couple other pho around the city and the meat broths here are our favorites so far.

It’s open late on weekends too which is nice if you are out around the city and want to grab a nice, quick meal that’s also nourishing. Very reasonable prices! Paying wish cash is ideal since there’s a 4% processing fee

One of THE best spots in Chinatown. The owner, Uncle Sam, is a huge advocate and community pillar ❤️ Food is absolutely EXCELLENT. Some of the best pho in the city, incredible broth and noodles. I love the spring roll vermicelli and the various rice platter, too. Vegans and vegetarians, I recommend the veggie banh mi with avocado. His bread is always crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Also love the chicken skewers/satay and papaya salad. You truly can’t go wrong with Uncle Sam’s cooking! Also, he may have No Arena t-shirts for sale still if you’re lucky 🙂

I just order a chicken and veg pho. The broth was clear and no flavor. We ordered through DoorDash at night. I understand if they ran out of both, but it’s better to not accept the order than to send something as bad at this. The Veg pho was missing tofu too. They are a lazy and greedy establishment. Order from another place.

Little Saigon Cafe is one of my favorite pho restaurants in the city. The dining area is small, but service was great and we had a solid dine-in experience. All of the food we tried was delicious – the pho was tasty, fresh, and the perfect size. The menu was fairly varied, however I’d love to see some seafood options for pho in the future. Will be back!
