The food and customer service at Little Rey never disappoints! Their breakfast/brunch menu is delicious but their lunch/dinner menu is top tier. It does get very busy and a line can form outside the door, but the food is always worth it! Their margaritas are very refreshing, their tacos are very flavorful, and their smoked wings (my favorite) have a delicious peanut matcha sauce I can never get enough often .
Sherlin brought me my food and was so kind, she even complimented my outfit. And Marc’A was just as kind, checking on my table asking if we wanted more chips and even recommended us to try their new blood orange margarita. Will always come back and I can’t wait to try the blood orange margarita on my next visit!

Phenomenal! Everything is phenomenal! Tacos, home made salsas, the breakfast tacos, and whole chickens all made to perfection! Even the ice cream is not your average soft serve it’s incredible! LA TORTA DIABLA is the best chicken sandwich you will ever eat! The wings have ruined me I cannot eat wings anywhere else. I will only eat wings at Little Rey! Do yourself a favor, don’t wait RUN TO Little Rey!

We tried the chicken tacos, carnitas and carne asada.
The restaurant was a little behind on the pork being ready when they opened, but the tacos came out hot and fresh.
The queso was on point, and we add a little sour cream to the beans and loved it.
The music was a bit loud, bathrooms were freezing cold. and the employee who took our order seemed a little disinterested in being there.
However, we will definitely be back for the tacos.

AMAZING! Is the first word that came out of my mouth as I bit into my taco. As an authentic Mexican it’s very hard to beat homemade tacos and Little Rey’s has hit this spot on. Love their tortillas, curated menu selection and their speed of service. Our company had our Christmas lunch here and the staff treated us so well. We were a large party and we all felt super welcomed. Not to mention the service was top notch. Highly recommend for surrounding offices to use for lunch!!!

Great Vibe here. Order at the counter have a seat and they will bring your order to you. Food comes out quickly and there’s ample seating indoor or outdoor. Food is pretty good. And they have a great margarita on tap. Great for casual lunch/ dinners

We love this place. There aren’t many places that us and our 8 year old enjoy equally. We love the food. These are arguably the best margaritas in the city. When we go we always enjoy working with Chase. He’s always attentive and offers great customer service. He interacts with our son which is important because some places ignore children and only talk to the adults spending money.
Overall we love this place and it’s a staple any weekend the weather is nice enough to sit outdoors.

Perfect spot for a casual Tex Mex meal. Tacos were spot-on: flavorful fillings, soft tortillas, and great toppings. Quick service, spacious vibe, and solid portions. The margaritas were strong, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. They’ve got a large patio seating as well. Definitely coming back!

If you’ve never tried Little Rey, you’re missing out! I usually go to the one on Piedmont, but the Northside Parkway location is a hidden gem. It may be tucked away, but that just adds to the charm—and honestly, the outdoor seating here is even better than Piedmont’s.
The food is consistently great, the prices are very reasonable, and the service is always top-notch. Bonus: they serve amazing pancakes on the weekends that are definitely worth the trip. Highly recommend checking this spot out!

I’ve eaten at a lot of places that call themselves Tex-Mex, not in Texas…. There are only a short list of restaurants that this Texan, agrees with their ideas. Let me just start with that chicken. That is the best smoked chicken I’ve eaten, ever…period! And it’s not close. Perfection!! That marinade was incredible.
Also got Steak tacos and Carnitas Tacos. Really, really good.
Chile con Queso. I could just start with its name on the menu. If I go into a Tex-Mex and you call it cheese sauce…I’m already frustrated. And these guys made my heart happy.
The tortillas were fresh. And the sauce bar was legit.
There was nothing that I didn’t like, and I’ll drive the 50 miles to eat there again – often. Sooo good!

We had a wonderful dining experience. As we walked in, we were greeted with a warm smile, and our order was taken with great care. There was a minor hiccup with the food, but Marc’a, the manager on duty, quickly resolved the issue. The food was excellent, and the environment was clean and friendly.
