This was our first visit to this restaurant. The portions were very good, one plate can feed two people. But the pork barbecue was bland. The sides were all good. The pricing was fair. I will not probably not visit again. The restaurant looked old and need some updating.

There were so many things wrong with this experience. Let’s start at the counter, the server did not seem like she wanted to be there. Please smile when guests come into your establishment.
They only do brisket seasonal I guess? So I went with the pulled pork platter and added one hot dog.
These portions were HUGE and that is not always a good thing. The quality of this food was so under sub par. Everything was overcooked and had no flavor.
Pulled pork was dang near turning into mush when you went to eat it. The corn that’s wrapped in that foil, tasted like boiled corn water. It’s like it just sits in a hot water bath and gets pulled to order which is not how you should serve corn on the cob. Mac n cheese, also mushy and no salt. The only thing that was edible was the hotdog, and for a bbq place I think that’s quite sad.
Also the bbq sauce was probably the only tasty or flavorful thing there. I legit didn’t eat my food and tossed it because at this point I value Quality over Quantity of food.
I don’t plan on returning and I feel like it was a huge disappointment for a long standing local bbq place. Perhaps the people in the area enjoy it because they don’t have tastebuds and enjoy bland food because you get a lot of it. Sorry, Do not recommend.

Today was our first visit. We found the food to be good. The pork could have been seasoned a bit more but it was still very good. Add some of the different bbq Sauces. The sides were good and portions are huge.
We went for the food, not the atmosphere.

Excellent breakfast. Country ham is lean and delicious. Coffee was great. I will be back again tomorrow. Prices were surprisingly cheap for good food. Biscuits, eggs, and wide selection of breakfast meats etc. it’s like eating at your grandmother’s house

I first tried Little Pigs in 1993 when I moved to Anderson. It became my favorite, and all these years later it is still just as good as it was then. Everything is delicious, and over proportioned which makes me able to have plenty of leftovers for later. The staff is just as friendly and family oriented as ever! This is my number one of all time BBQ restaurant, or all time favorite restaurant of all time! Thank you guys for building and maintaining something wonderful ❤️

Staff is friendly and helpful, Food was great. Ribs are on Thursday, Friday and Saturday only. Ribs and Chopped pork was great and portions are big. Sides of fried okra, hush puppies and corn were all good. I will definitely be back… Prices are good. A family of 3 should expect to spend around 40 bucks.

My husband loves their BBQ dinner plates. Served with fries, slaw, and toasted bun. I usually get their two hotdog plate with fries and slaw. We sometimes go in to eat but since the pandemic we just order and take home. Little pigs has been opened for many years. The business was sold because the original owner retired. So the new owner reopened and kept everything as it was. Their food is good, the restaurant is clean, their restrooms are on the outside of the building. You need a key in order to get in the restrooms. That is only for your protection.

Carolina Style BBQ done right! Huge portions – fair prices – wonderful sweet tea and sauces! BBQ and all the fixings plus a short order menu! Great value at this location! A staple in the Anderson community all of my life.

Great BBQ and you get enough for at least two meals! This is reviewing a to go order but I have been going here for years and it is an excellent lean bbq and one of the best mustard bbq sauces I have had. The Togo plate was so full of food the container could nearly supper the weight. The sandwich was packed full of bbq so much so you have to take at least half of the bbq to take a bite of the sandwich. The coleslaw is really good and light on the mayo. The baked beans were great with bbq mixed in with the beans. I even got a large container of the mustard sauce to use at home and I normally order a vinegar based sauce. The other sauces may be good too but we have always got the mustard sauce. Highly recommend.
