My mother and I left the hospital after spending time with my now deceased sister. I hadn’t eaten fried food in years and momma was praising Little Bigs chicken and bbq- so ; why not? OMGoodness!! Let’s just say we hot Little Pigs again the bedtnday. Clean, amazing food, and the staff are wonderful.

This is by far the best chicken that has ever passed my lips. My sister and I are visiting from Jacksonville Fl and have eaten her 2 days in a row. The staff are wonderful and make you feel at home. Very reasonably priced and the portions are awesome. The slaw is good and sweet . Everything is delicious. The pork and ribs are also out of this world. Wish they were in our town. Long live the Little Pigs

BBQ is good, hot dogs very good, but honestly this place is worth coming to just for the broasted chicken. Nothing goes to waste except for the bones. Seasoned and cooked just right. Sides are good too, especially the BBQ baked beans. Excellent tea. At a good price too!

I ordered some ribs today and they weren’t good at all. It’s like they were braised in nothing but sauce. The texture was like pork pot roast and the sauce had a strange off flavor. My new England relatives cook ribs in a crock pot with BBQ sauce and it’s about the same quality level. Disappointing from a place located in North Carolina. The pulled pork was a little better. Hush puppies were a bit greasy but tasty. The beans lacked flavor, tested like they were basically in ketchup. Service was great and fast.

The BBQ and chicken were great. Especially enjoyed the hush puppies. Took me back in time with its quaint atmosphere. Visiting from Virginia but will come back next time we are in Ashville.

So the presentation needs some work, but the chicken, and pork were pretty decent. The bbq sauce was interesting, but worked with the pork. The potato salad was the highlight for me, while the beans, slaw, and ribs weren’t my preference. The staff was kind, and the service was quick. I’m mixed on if I’d return here, but it’s not a bad option if you’re in the area.

Came to town for some traditional Carolina BBQ. Tried several others around. By far, Little Piggy’s BBQ is the best BBQ in Asheville, it didn’t disappoint. Simple menu, everything was excellent.
I had the BBQ & Rib combo plate with a side potato salad, beans, hush puppies, and coleslaw. The ribs were fall off the bone tender, the pork had a awesome hickory taste to it, the coleslaw was very fresh, the potato salad was wonderful, the hush puppies were very good not over spiced like other places.
Pibbs pop on tap was a real treat for me, that’s hard to find in Michigan.
The lemon pie, perfection.
