Tips From A Bellman
I stopped here a few days ago for the first time. It’s a small , family owned bbq place beside a gas station like you would find in a small town in the South. The employees were nice and I heard the cashier telling someone it was her family’s business. It’s not decorated fancy , but the dining room is clean and has honest bbq.

I got the Pulled Pork Plate with 2 Sides and a Sweet Tea. I also ordered an extra side. If you’re a Veteran like me , your drink is free. The Pulled Pork was tasty and a good portion and they give you a bun even though you didn’t order a sandwich you have bread to go with it. I ordered Hush Puppies as my bread , but still ate the top bun with my meal. Hush Puppies were pretty good when warm , my last one when it cooled down then tasted a little oily so eat them while they’re hot.

Usually I get a Pulled Pork Sandwich instead of a platter and have Slaw on it. Well I got a side of Slaw and it was Mayo style , not Vinegar style and I didn’t like it. The young lady let me replace them with the Beans and they were very good. Potato Salad was average , I like a little more mustard in mine.

Now for the BBQ Sauces. They have 5 BBQ Sauces which is a good variety to have. I liked the Hot , Vinegar , and Rob Sauce the most. For Pulled Pork I found if you mix the Hot and Vinegar Sauces it worked the best. If I would’ve had Brisket then the Rob Sauce would be my pick for it. The Mild was okay , but I prefer more of a kick. The Mustard Sauce was weak and not tangy enough and I usually like a good mustard sauce sometimes on pulled pork , but prefer the vinegar. Sweet tea ok , not too sweet like some places.

Overall it’s a well rounded bbq place. My total with tax was $19.70 with my free Veteran’s drink , pulled pork platter and 3 sides. I would like to come back and try the Brisket next time. I would recommend you giving it a try and support a local family business.

If you’re all about “bigger is better” like I am, don’t let that stop you from enjoying the food here! Despite its small size, as it is tucked away behind a gas station, the quantity of the size of the building was outmatched by the quality of the food!

The portions here are fairly big and one can most definitely get a great and quick lunch here, and this sort of place works great if you’re out exploring the town and want to support a smaller business! Just look at the size of my sandwich in the picture! Potato salad and macaroni and cheese also made for some appetizing side items!

I don’t have super high standards for bathrooms or anything but I will give them props for a professional looking bathroom as well!

This is what you want for a southern BBQ joint. In a plaza with a gas station. Lovely folks running the place that put more effort into the food, than making the place all cool. It is nice, but it has the welcoming lives in vibe. The folks are terrific. We all had the brisket. It’s a dryer brisket, but really good stuff. The BBQ beans were perfect. Too many BBQ places try to overdue beans. These are beans done right. The potato salad is a tasty creamy mustard based salad. The coleslaw, hush puppies, and Mac and cheese are also reportedly tasty.

Hooray for Rib Day! I have been eating at Littles Pigs for decades and have always ordered their BBQ plates, but today was special. There was a sign on the door announcing that today was Rib Day. Their Ribs were “fall off the bone” ribs. Deelish! Staff and service are always top notch. Their entire team is amazing. Be sure to check out what days are rib days and give them a taste. They will not disappoint.

My wife and I ate here for the first time a few days ago, and she can be a very judgmental BBQ person. Her rating? 5 stars solid! Mine too. Food and staff were 100%. Pricing was good, and the food I think exceed what I paid for. Myrtle and North Myrle have no shortage of great BBQ places, but I think of all the ones we’ve tried, this has been the best so far. I highly recommend it if your in the area.

Room is limited, and most of the seating is small booths. They do have catering and take-out/pick-up. Large groups (more than 4) would be a challenge if they all want to sit together.

I have been eatin at Little Pigs BBQ for about 10yr. Mostly the one off 62nd north..but also the one on 544 at Big Block Rd. I called the one off 62nd north at 3 minutes until 7pm..to see if they was open. She said yes..but theyre closin at 7pm. Then..she asked what I wanted. She took my order..10 min later she unlocked the door to let me in to pick up my order. Ive seen this girl in there before. Not sure if she is family..but she is country girl hot..and very cool. The food was great..as always. Around MB..in most restaurants..if they close at 7pm..they act irritated if you show up at 6:30pm. I will return.

Decided to give Little Pigs a chance & I ordered a jumbo pork sandwich with Mac and cheese & baked beans.

For $14 the portion of each size was embarrassing due to how small it was. Both tasted like prepackaged beans and Mac.

The pork sandwich was a decent size but ridiculously dry and the smoke was way off. I tried a few pieces off the sandwich to make sure it wasn’t just a fluke dry piece but they were all consistent.

One plus is they had 5 different bbq sauces to try, all which were the highlight of the dining experience. However not good enough to save the pork sandwich.

I finished the small sides of Mac & beans but couldn’t gather the courage to take a full bite of the sandwich.

I then went to the trash can and tossed my empty plate and full sandwich, which i left unwrapped in the trash, letting the female at the counter knowing that It was dry and didn’t taste right to me.

Her response was “aww, you didn’t like it!?”

I said, unfortunately not & left.

She didn’t offer to have me try something else in it’s place & was unbothered by the fact I didn’t even take a bite before throwing it away.

This combo of sides and pork was some of the worst bbq I’ve had in SC, in the last 15 years.

Lovely spot! First impression is the clean tables and thermostat temperature. There was a line, but we took that as a good sign.

Prices and portions are reasonable and service was excellent!

Solid brisket, hot fries, crispy hush puppies and last but not least tasty add-your-own-sauce bbq (vinegar, mustard, etc.)

We’ll definitely be back!

Nice little spot right there off of 17. I had never eaten here before today I really enjoyed this local fav. It has a simple menu and walk up service. We were served quickly and with a smile! They have ribs Friday and Saturday, but daily feature fresh chopped/pulled pork and brisket.
Sides were adequate, but the pulled pork was solid. I sampled a bite of the brisket and found it flavorful, but a little dry. Sauce selection was good, vinegar, mustard, and two versions of tomato.

Great Barbecue place! I’ve been to numerous barbecue places and this one is defiantly one of the best. Food was generously portioned, tasted great, and priced very reasonably. The sauces were also very great; personally, I liked the hot and vinegar sauces. Will definitely be coming back!
