Incredible dinner at Little Pearl last night. They fit us in last minute and we’re very welcoming. I was excited to learn they offer a four course prefixed menu and you choose one of three options for each course, for $90/person. I LOVE prefixed menus, so this was a huge bonus for me. We ordered an add-on of stone crab claws and a bottle of wine and the total with tip was around $350 – which is expensive, but worth the experience and superb meal. We’re only in key West for two days, so we probably won’t go back, but I would definitely go again next time we’re in town.

Probably the best restaurant in key west, they only offer the tasting menu and you still get to choose between 3 options which is great. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, the server was absolutely amazing and nice to everyone. They were attentive with our reservation and called us a few times to confirm the details. Food- delicious!!!! The scallops they had with the most perfect puree was OMG! I had been there once 7 years ago and still remember what I had ordered and how good it was back then. It didn’t disappoint this time either. Its also fairly priced!

This 4 course meal with add on options was divine. My favorite was the octopus empanadas, my dining companion’s was the stone crab. Other delights: stone crab, sweet chili jerk shrimp bao buns, calamari, octopus empanadas, lotus stir fry, beef belly, scallops, mangrove snapper, coconut sorbet, pistachio gelato. If you’re in Key West and you enjoy high quality meals, this is a must!

Great romantic atmosphere, exceptional service from the two lovely ladies working. Food was outstanding, the tuna, lobster salad, and the wagyu beef was unreal. Added on the stone crab, which was wonderful but we were too full for our deserts. Perfect amount of food! Great experience. Will be back!

Karen was our server. We were warmly received and had great service the whole time. It’s small so rsvp – maybe 15 or 20 tables. The food was out of this world! We’re pretty sure this chef doesn’t create a bad dish so every course was absolutely amazing. It was really clean with nice decor. Big shout out to Karen for taking such great care of us.

Very disappointed with my experience here. I am a foodie, go to Michelin star restaurants regularly and had very high hopes for this place based on the 4.6 out of 5 star reviews on Google. I live in Key West and am a local to the area as well, not just a tourist.

We attended the 5pm time slot. The restaurant is extremely loud. We were at a corner table by the wall and the sounds and voices from the other tables bounced off the wall. They had nothing in the restaurant ceilings to help absorb the sound or distribute the sound evenly. We had to talk extremely loud, almost yell to hear each other. Halfway through the evening I had a headache from the loudness.

We ordered the baked scallops, which were $25 and only 4 in the order. They were super small (bay size instead of sea) so I was very disappointed. They had a good taste with the squid ink butter, but they were extremely overpriced.

We ordered the Picanha as one of the entrees. It was extremely tough, was not cut correctly (it should’ve been cut against the grain) and it was cut with the grain. We cook Picanha at home regularly. We expressed the meat toughness to our waitress (I think her name was Gail) and she responded “Well that’s how Picanha is.” She did offer to make us a new one or take away the Picanha and replace it with another entree. We felt a bit slighted that we expressed concern about the meal and nothing was done to try and accommodate us.

We also ordered the “Finned Fare” entree which was Grouper with a squash risotto. The risotto was cooked right and flavorful. Unfortunately, the fish was underseasoned and bland tasting. I ended up dipping it in the sauce that accompanied my potstickers.

Most of the items we ate were average tasting, not above average or outstanding. I would not spend money here again. The menu items are good ideas and I like the theme they are going for, but it’s just not executed at the level I was expecting.

Dined at Little Pearl last night and it was a delicious tasting menus. My boyfriend and I intentionally ordered different things so we could share. The standouts for us – the octopus empanadas and the finned fare. The calamari was also yummy. The salmon was good but not as good as the beef belly. For dessert we had the upside down Apple and the cheese plate. Also both very good. We also had a bottle of wine – reasonably priced for restaurant pricing. Tasting menus are always fun and yes it was $85 per person but it’s an experience and a chance to try things you might not normally try. We felt that it was worth the price. Keep in mind it is a “tasting” and not full portions, that’s why there are four courses. It was more than enough food for us but we don’t eat large portions. Service was friendly, helpful, and attentive.

Absolutely incredible! This hidden gem – right off of Duval, settled on a neighborhood corner is a must go to! The staff, especially Gail, are friendly, helpful, and good people. The chef creates a remarkable menu of different combo flavors that are a must taste! This place came as a recommendation to us, and we feel the need to pass it along.

Super noisy atmosphere!

Food was tasty but the portion size for all four courses all together was equivalent to an appetizer elsewhere. We definitely left very hungry!

And food took 30 minutes to come out between course 1 and course 2. We had to tell the waitress to speed it up.

The worst thing is to give a hungry person super tiny portions on a large plate and wait 30 minutes before the next tiny portion (aka “course”) arrives!

Actually , there is one thing worse than all of this; the bill costed over $200 for two people!
We paid cash to avoid the 2.5% up charge for using a credit card.

Never again!

We ended up going to another restaurant called “Kennedy Cafe” which was marvelous and delicious

These photos are from the food from Kennedy Cafe.
I’d highly recommend them!
