I been here 3 times since they opened recently. Every time the staff has been delightful, the restaurant clean, and most importantly the food has been great. I’ve tried salads, pizzas, sandwiches, and one pasta – all of it was really good quality Italian food.
I love that you order/pay at the counter (very quick for lunch) then choose from a huge number of nicely laid out tables. The food is brought to your table – bread and water are provided while you wait, if you’d like. The bar serves beer flights, which is nice since they have a decent variety of beers on tap which I wanted to try.
So exciting to have another great restaurant in Aptos!!!

Very bad service. I had to get up and ask for bread. She brought it with out butter. We waited 10 minutes to get butter. I had to go to the bar to get refills on our drinks. Bread was cold and dry. We paid for the lamb but after twenty minutes of waiting someone came over and said they were out. Then offered to substitute with a cheaper item and did not offer us our money back. My spaghetti was so over cooked it was mushy. Food was bland. I wanted this place to be good but it’s not! I feel like I wasted my money!!

Our favorite in Aptos – the Dominico is amazing and the side salad is our preferred leafy bit. Drinks are good and reasonable.
The biz model is a bit unique in that you put in an order and then it’s delivered to you. On busy nights this can take a while (likely why others aren’t all giving it 5 stars) but the food and drink is legit. Give it a try. Weeknights are easy, quick, and tasty.

The food was amazing!! We got the pesto pizza and the 5 cheese ravioli. We were very impressed. And the food came out so fast! Friendly staff, awesome food, I’d go back for sure!

Good food, generous portions. Bar has custom cocktails, but only one bartender doing everything. Took 15 minutes to order one glass of wine. They need a wine/beer server and cocktail person.

Very disappointing… Don’t waste your money or time!
First… Italian food should not be experienced as though you’re at Burger! My personal opinion but italian food should not be treated as though it’s fast food it should be a pleasurable experience. I felt like I was at Chuck-E-Cheese.
I ordered one of their specialty items Domenica which is bolognese, pappardelle & meatballs (the bolognese was the most basic and bland I’ve ever had). The dish was so dry and the meatballs were very sad… burned to the point where there was absolutely no moisture! I simply couldn’t eat it… just decided to leave it and say nothing.
My boyfriend… who’s full Sicilian ordered their Mushroom pizza… again it came so burned he couldn’t eat any of the crust. The pizza would’ve been better if it had been some kind of sauce. He also walked away from his dish.
The wine was good… but we have that at home. Needless to say… we won’t be back.

Wow.. Better food than expected. Full bar, dim light type atmosphere, friendly attentive staff, great prices. Well worth the dinning experience. Easy, easy, easy 5 stars.

Amazing (especially since it’s opening night), the appetizers (especially the kale Caesar salad) were amazing and I plan to come here again during my next visit to SC! I highly reccomend the Little Owl Italian Kitchen.
