Can’t believe I’ve lived around the corner for almost 4 months and this is the first time I’ve been!

Excellent food, quality service, a decent price, and a good location – what more could you ask for.

My absolute favourite style of pizza, and some high quality pasta to top it off.

I will definitely be coming back!

What a fab little place. Wonderful coffee, great pizza, but the best thing was the staff. Make you feel like a regular on your first visit. You could imagine you’re in the Quartieri Spagnoli, in that other football fanatic city, sipping espresso while discussing McNapoli and the Mags. It really is wonderful

It is an excellent Italian restaurant. Me and my boyfriend we had a lovely talk with Judy. It was so good to feel welcomed. Great service, food here is also super nice. Happy to discover a place like that in Newcastle

My sister came to visit from abroad and we’d seen this lovely little Italian café on social media, so we planned our days around finally trying it – and I’m so glad we did!

From the moment we walked in, it felt warm and welcoming. You can tell it’s a true family-run place, with lovely faces greeting you as soon as you step through the door. The food was absolutely unreal – fresh, authentic and full of proper Italian flavour. Everything tasted delicious and any little extras we asked for were happily done.

The pizza base (and I’m very fussy about this!) was perfect – the texture, the crust, that bite into it… just beautiful. The Bologna pizza was amazing. We also had the Pollo de Nino with extra fresh chillies and it was sooo good

I’m not usually one for writing reviews, but this place definitely deserved one. Highly recommended – we’ll 100% be back.

Thank you x

We visited for lunch recently and were honestly blown away. It’s tucked away, but absolutely worth finding.

We started with the bruschetta and the garlic king prawns- both were fresh, full of flavour, and the perfect way to begin the meal. For mains, I had the Fuoco di Nino pizza and my partner ordered the Bolognese pasta – both were incredible, easily some of the best Italian food we’ve had.

The atmosphere was relaxed and warm, with soft Italian music playing in the background that gave it a real authentic feel like. It’s the perfect spot for a laid-back lunch.

The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better.

If you’re looking for authentic Italian food with a cosy atmosphere, this place is a must. We’ll definitely be back!

Lovely little spot with quality food at great prices. The staff are incredibly welcoming, and it’s a fantastic find not far from St James’ Park. We’ll definitely be back!

Highly recommended if you are a student of Newcastle uni. It is near the sport centre and medical school. Since there really isn’t much great food in that area so it’s really awesome that a relatively cheap and decent option around. Great garlic bread by the eay.

What a fab find! Authentic Italian food in a welcoming cafe. The Italian news & music in the background feels like you could be in Italy. The best calamari in Newcastle, no frozen rubbish. Delicious spaghetti & pizzas. Prices are very affordable & there’s a set menu 2 courses £10 weekdays 3-5pm

Honestly working down the road and have been cold and wet this week. Tried the meatball panini and a pizza slice. Absolutely unreal! Be heading there next week for sure the staff are friendly and welcoming. My aim is to try all the paninis and the menu at this rate.
