Little Miss BBQ is built around providing our idea of amazing central Texas style barbecue and to be the best part of your day. We use labor intensive techniques using Arizona white oak, pecan, pistachio and mesquite firewood in smokers that we designed using all of our knowledge about what it takes to create amazing barbecue. We use prime beef sourced from a single rancher who we believe creates the best tasting beef in the US. Every time I go to Little Miss BBQ, it’s always a hit! The food has never let me down and I’ve been going each year at least. The brisket is tender and the sausage just has the right amount of crunch without being dry. I’m a big fan of their banana pudding as well. Service is also just as good, it’s noticeably personable and hospitable right when you order your food which adds to the experience. I’ll admit the wait times can be a bit slow as a result and if you go during peak times especially and the pricing can be a bit high, but the food usually makes the hassles worth it! I’m also a big fan of supporting our locally owned businesses here in Phoenix!!! If so had the funding and lived nearby, I’d be eating here more often!

When thinking of barbecue in Arizona, for the longest time the first place I thought of was always Little Miss at their university location. This new location in Sunnyslopes is beautiful. From the outdoor patio to the larger must have in Phoenix air conditioned inside dining area. A wonderfully seasoned brisket that I could taste the salt and smoke in every bite. Between bites I took some cheesy grits that had nice little flecks of black pepper, reminding you to go back to the brisket. Never losing that peppery flavor. A slightly sweet glaze on a MEATY rib. After several visits to little Miss, I feel like my favorite sausage. Here is the 707 house sausage. It’s not spicy anyway, even though there are a little pieces of jalapeño throughout. And it’s not quite a hot link either. Anyways, I think I prefer it over the jalapeño cheddar sausage because it’s a little bit different. I really need to try the banana pudding. The next time I come here, but I always get this smoked pecan pie. It’s so sweet and has a wonderfully gelatinous filling that just melts as it hits your mouth. Or maybe I’ll just keep getting this and the mystery of the banana pudding will ever continue lol. I have a feeling that one of my work lunches. This week is definitely going to be at Little Miss lol

I don’t think I’ve ever said that on a review and I mean it. My husband was spoiled with Texas BBQ and he was literally beaming from this meal we had last night!
They hand you a sample of brisket (delicious) when ordering and hubby enjoyed all the fixings!
He was so pleased with the Mac and cheese , potato salad , and banana pudding
We loved it all!
The building and outside area was well kept And clean , like so clean we noted it as well

I’ve lived in Phoenix for 25 years and finally ate at Little Miss. Mac & Cheese was meh. I’m not a beans guy but ordered their beans and it was fine. Sweet tea was okay. Restroom was clean. Jalapeño Cheese sausage was delicious. The sliced brisket was excellent. I would definitely go back and get different sides.

This BBQ. DEEEEELISH! I’m from the south-east and well… BBQ is our thing so I love trying BBQ everywhere. Don’t tell my momma but I think this was the best banana pudding I’ve eaten… more like don’t tell my mawmaw.

Definitely recommend. Take yourself, your friends and family! Yum!

The staff were very polite, and the meat was delicious. It’s a casual, fast-food–style place, but I think it’s actually quite good. While we were eating in the outdoor seating area, two pigeons kept walking around looking for leftover pieces of meat on the ground — it was pretty funny to watch.

Overall, a simple but enjoyable meal.

First time trying this place and oh my god! Not only is it practically impossible to decide which meat to choose from but the sides are just as impossible to choose from. As soon as my daughter and I walked in, it was really cool. The staff were very friendly and helpful in asking any questions we had. They even gave us samples of the food or drinks, that way we didn’t regret what we ordered. As soon as we sat down and got our food, we were mind blown about everything. Definitely will be coming back in the future to try their other food!

My mouth is watering just thinking about writing this review.
While standing in line waiting to order and I changed my mind about 50 times because I just wanted to sample one of everything. One of the servers had informed all of us that their mac and cheese was not to their normal standard and then noodles were a bit mushy. I’m thankful they gave the heads up. I still got it anyway and I have to say that was tasty despite the mushy noodles. Potato salad was fabulous. But the creme de la creme was the meat always the meat. I was fortunate enough to get the pulled pork and brisket as soon as like they opened up the second line. It was like precision surgery as the they prepped the meat to be served to me.

All of the staff was A+! They were attentive, helpful, knowledgeable and nice. The food was good quality bbbq.i got the beef rib cole slaw and pickles. The price was about $78 OTD and it was delicious. I would go again

This was honestly some of the best BBQ I have ever had with the Sunday candied pork belly being a must try. Every meat was super tender and full of flavor and the sides were rich and crazy good especially the beans. The whole meal was unforgettable from the first bite to the last.
