Arrived at 9:30 am with my brother. Parking is available at the back along with public parking as well.

I asked for steak and eggs. My brother went with a molcajete for two.

My brother enjoyed two oyster shots, a Paloma (cocktail), and three tequila shots. I had a horchata which was from a machine (not asking for that again). The place was empty upon arrival.

A lot of seating available and booth seating as well. There is a jukebox that connects through an app. That was neat.

The server was a lady with great patience. The menu seemed like el pescador but with more variety. The chips and salsa are delicious. The food arrived and we ate. My brother did enjoy the oyster shots and the Paloma.

Overall we enjoyed our stay, the food, and atmosphere. We would return.

Thank you and God bless you.

This little place is in East Los Angeles. It is in the heart of East LA where a lot of the really good Mexican food is located.

This was our first time going. We have decided to take a tour near home so we picked East LA. We are so happy we did.

While we were there we saw cooks preparing a catering menu and wow did it look great. I will use them someday.

The place is adorable and has a jukebox. It is super clean. The service is very good and very friendly. They speak English and Spanish which is great. They know the menu and can tell you what is spicy and how to make it less spicy if needed.

We started with oysters and they were nicely chilled and so fresh. We ordered a seond round they were so good.

We also had a couple of combination plates with the best rice and beans, tacos and enchiladas. We had a great shrimp cocktail with wonderful seafood at the bottom.

There was not one thing we did not enjoy. We all shared and ate so much. I thought I would need a nap. It was just great. Go there.

Was a party of 2, took them 10 min to notice us, mind you they weren’t busy at all. Ordered the only drink they had, they brought over some chips and salsa. The chips were stale and the salsa tasted fishy ok fine whatever. I called over the waitress we were ready to order, she just ignored me, the chisme was too good. I walked to the register told her to charge me for whatever she took us, she looked annoyed gave me bad attitude and told another lady to charge me while she went back to gossip with the other waitresses. First and last time going here

For $65 you will get attitude from management, she will try to charge you for food you didn’t get or eat and the food is raw food. When told the enchilada was not cooked. They took the plate from the table took it back to the kitchen and did absolutely nothing to it the same plate came back uncooked and still cold. Which is also against food regulation. Terrible tasting horrible quality food. They don’t follow food regulations which can get you extremely sick so I hope I don’t get sick. Never again will I be coming.

This is a small neighborhood restaurant had an appointment in an area I don’t travel often and was looking for some authentic pescado frito (whole fried fish) I goggle, look at a few reviews and I arrived. It was lunchtime, so I wasn’t sure how crowded it would be. There were a few people there but not too many. I was seated immediately. I ordered exactly what I searched for. Pescado frito and a mango margarita. My
pescado frito came with a side aalad and rice and fried potatoes. I wanted beans, but I think my learning how to speak beginning Spanish ordered the fried potatoes. I was low-key embarrassed to take the potatoes back for the beans since I tried to be fancy and speak Spanish. Nevertheless I like the food and the margarita was frozen and didn’t taste much tequila. Now, I did noticed nats flying around my table area and I was like was WTH!!! I didn’t like that at ALL!!!! Yall need to fix that. I had to write this review to add that because that was a turn off. Again address the flying nat problem no one should have to eat inside a resturant with flying insect.

Hadn’t been here in years!!! Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon, glad to see it has some minor upgrades, even the menu got a lil Make over. Same epic salsa! We ordered: the mariscos molcajete, the steak ranchera w/shrimp. The shrimp is lightly grilled and seasoned well! Everything tasted fresh, had the mechilada which was perfect! I missed this place. The Lady owner there is a doll, glad she remembered me. Would love to go back, and try other plates there that I have missed

Ordered the shrimp cocktail and it was delicious with lots of sides of crackers and tortilla chips with salsa. Got to meet the owners son and he was very accommodating and provided good service. Will definitely go back.
