If me and my husband could put a 0 star we would. I got the beef taco rice and beans and the meat tasted horrible and really greasy then we were over charged and was told we had to pay to use the card machine. Our bill was only suppose to be 38 dollars but it was almost 50 and when we pointed out that we were being over charged the lady just said that’s how things are here. I also got really sick from eating from this place. Do not recommend at all.

Ordered nachos that had almost no cheese then when asked for some was charged extra 2.99 each for 1oz cup cheese and sour cream. Also was charged .50 for each to gov container. Then after we paid we got to go menu and added it up and realized that we were overcharged $12 in total. Not to mention the extremely rude staff.

Found this restaurant by sheer luck when out driving, and what a great find! Delicious food, really nice staff, fast service, and authentic Mexican flavors made for a wonderful experience and we will definitely return. Highly recommend!

Food was terrible. Taco meat was cold. Look at the liquid in the box where the taco salad was sitting originally. Orange rice and the beans were pour able they were so runny

I gave this place another chance based on word of mouth about it “changing owners and being better than it was when it first appeared”
I will say food was decent but the price for the food is 100% not worth it even a little bit!
Got 2 benjis and a large cheese dip $47 the benjies was 4 inches long yall menu states “your choice of beans or rice” when i asked the waitress she said no it doesnt come with it.
Ran outt drink no waitress in sight
Needed a box no waitress in sight
Honestly whole time we were there everybody was sitting in the kitchen not doing anything…. Cant say ok they were busy cuz we were the only one there so zero excuse not to even fill a drink. Will not be back….could not pay me to go back will not recommend anyone to go back.
Want good mexican continue down the road towards florence and go to La hacienda
Or if u prefer go towards Lawrenceburg and go to Cocina real
Unget good mexican good prices and good service dont waste your time or money here

Honestly I was thinking by the reviews this was a great place but I saw also nobody in the parking lot so I was a little confused and was thinking maybe this ain’t that Mexican place it claims to be…. But we went in and then I quickly realized they charged for chips, salsa and if you want more chips it’s even more, that’s crazy for a Mexican restaurant. It’s just understood you get free chips and salsa from the start, similar to rolls at southern restaurants. Then what did me in was the prices! We left and drove across the street.

Ordered food to go and nothing about my order was right except the small cheese dip. Thur it all in the garbage and my wife and I ate the chips and dip. Total waste of money. Won’t be back! HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT EATING THERE!

They will refuse to give you an itemized receipt when asked. They charge a ridiculous amount. They’ll just say that prices went up with no further explanation. 2 kids meals and 2 lunch specials. $70 for lunch. I enjoyed the food and server but will not be back and will never recommend after that.
