the only place i trust to get matcha! the owners are so sweet, and the workers are always willing to give recommendations/answer questions about the menu.

i would highly recommend taking their matcha class too! my bf and i took a class for valentine’s day and had a great time. small class of 4 people and we made matcha powder for our own drinks, in addition to being served a flight of drinks! derek had a lot of great information over the history and preparation of matcha.

My fav matcha in the cincy area. I first tried little matcha as a pop up at the city fleas. It quickly became something I craved. When they opened the store front in October 2025 I was so excited I waited in the line for the awesome opening day. Since then I go back at least once a week. It’s so fun to try the new rotating flavors. Ube, coconut cloud, lavender, and pistachio have been my favorites.

If you are expecting a super quick thrown together drink this ain’t that. They take the time to hand whisk every drink and it really comes through with the flavor. So give yourself some time if you pop by especially on weekends.

If you get the chance to chat with Cindy or Derek they will gladly tell you about their travels and passion for matcha. They have taught me so much about matcha in convos and on their socials.

Never in my life have I had better matcha. THE VIBES. The staff. The environment. The service. All absolute 10s. I wish so badly we had this place in Chicago. Shoutout Cindy and Derek. We came for three days straight and basically got 3 matchas each for every time. I’ll be thinking about this place every single day while I am at home.

I had the rose, the coconut cloud, the strawberry, and the matcha matcha. All were 10s. The ROSE is for sureeee my favorite. I would literally book a trip to Cincinnati just to come back.

Little Matcha has quickly become my new favorite matcha spot in the Cincinnati area. It’s such a great addition to the neighborhood — from the moment you walk in, the vibe is welcoming and the staff is genuinely kind and personable, which makes every visit feel special.

The variety of matchas is unreal, and I love that they rotate flavors every two weeks — it keeps things exciting and gives you something new to look forward to every visit. Some standout flavors I’ve loved over the past few months include gingerbread, caramel, eggnog, strawberry, and their banana bread matcha (which deserves its own fan club). If you’re not a fan of matcha, they do have alternatives like the Vietnamese coffee, which I definitely recommend!

Another huge bonus is how they support other small businesses by featuring local pastries in the shop from time to time — everything I’ve tried has been fantastic and pairs perfectly with their matcha.

I’ve definitely become a regular and always find myself excited to see what new flavors they’re rolling out next. If you love matcha (or are curious to try it), Little Matcha is a must-visit.

Really good matcha!! They have creative flavors that I love to try each week. Staff is very knowledgeable and nice to interact with. They are always ready to answer any questions I have. Can’t recommend them enough! The best matcha in GSO if you ask me

This place has great reviews so I was excited to try it. They offer classic matcha and hojicha plus seasonal holiday drinks, which is fun. I appreciated that everything is hand-whisked and measured – you can tell there’s intention behind it.

That said… it didn’t fully hit for me. The matcha had good color but wasn’t as umami or flavorful as I prefer. I can’t drink dairy or oat milk, so I picked their califia farm coconut/almond milk and I just don’t love that flavor. I really wish they had a barista style almond milk option for a creamier texture.

The space itself is super cute with seating in the back, and overall it’s solid – just not my personal favorite but I’m glad I visited.

Best matcha in the Cincinnati area! Finally got to stop by and tried a simple matcha latte with whole milk, it was super smooth, creamy, and perfectly balanced with rich umami flavor you only get from really good matcha. Cindy and Derrick, the owners, are so friendly and genuinely care about what they do. They also sell matcha tools and other cute, creative products. Definitely a must visit whether you already love matcha or want to try it for the first time.

I heard great things about little matcha and was not disappointed!! I got two drinks, one for me and my friend, and they were both really good. The color of the matcha was perfect and the sweetness and flavor of the drinks as a whole was very pleasant. The inside is quite small, but the decor and outdoor seating were cute. The worker I spoke to when I was there was also so so nice, I’m glad I was able to stop by!!

love love love the ube matcha. can’t wait to try other flavors

update 11/4: i’ve come here enough times to truly say that i absolutely love the flavors and taste of this shop’s matcha. i’ve had the banana bread, banana cream brulee, pumpkin cream, vanilla bean, caramel sea salt, strawberry shortcake, coconut water matcha, etc….yeah im a fan. i like how they change their menu biweekly so you are never bored and always anticipating what’s the next new thing to try. the matcha has depth and earthiness to it that is balanced with the slightly sweetened variety they have (i like it this way even tho my friends like the OG matcha!). i also really like their viet coffee, it tastes exactly like how i had it in vietnam in those family owned cafes…and gets me going through the day

If you’re a true matcha lover, Little Matcha is a must. TBH this isn’t beginner Matcha. If you’re new to Matcha and prefer it very sweet, they can make it sweeter for you. But if you genuinely love the taste of Matcha, you’ll appreciate it. I ordered the iced Ube Matcha and it was so good. The ube added just enough sweetness without overpowering the Matcha
