The cutest little spot tucked inside a house in downtown Yorkville on Bridge Street is serving up some of the best scones I’ve had in the area.

The inside is cozy but modern, with a huge menu and coffee drinks made with homemade syrups and toppings.

This place was packed at 8:45 AM, but I was still able to grab everything I had my eye on. Today’s lineup: the strawberry lime scone, white chocolate pistachio brioche, and a peanut butter chocolate chip cookie.

The brioche was easily one of the best sweets l’ve ever had, it was fluffy, not overly sweet, and perfectly balanced by the pistachio. If they have this, I’m ordering it every single time.

Please check them out and support this small business. I already know it’s going into my regular weekend rotation.

Awesome spot! Fresh baked goods, tasty breakfast and lunch sandwiches, smoothies, yogurt parfaits, and all sorts of hot beverages. The bakery items are made fresh daily in limited quantities and usually sell fast, so plan accordingly. They also offer a variety of fresh baked gluten free options, as well as mimosas and bloody mary’s for onsite dining.

Great service, nice and friendly staff. I got 2 chocolate filled croissants. They were not the best I have ever had but they were still great. Nice crunch to it. The chocolate was good. Nice and warm too. In total I spent about 11.46 with cash. They accept card but charge a fee. The chairs are comfortable but hard. The parking lot has limited parking but it looks like there’s another street you could possibly park at too. Clean environment. Calm music in the background. 1 clean bathroom for paying customers and a changing table for the little ones.

Great place! Coffee was good. The pastry was excellent. Can’t wait to try the other offerings. Everything was fresh. I would advise if you want something, getting there early is best as once it’s out for the day you are out of luck. Also can’t wait for it to get warmer and have my coffee on the huge covered porch.

Just found my new favorite breakfast. Spinach artichoke dip croissant. It was so delish, flaky and the layers, just excellent! Definitely worth another trip! Owners are awesome and staff is very friendly. Hubby had the blackberry cream cheese pastry. Was very good and not too sweet.

Ok. So I saw they did a special for pizza and I’m constantly on the lookout for the best pizza around and Little Loaf Bakehouse did NOT disappoint. So far it’s arguably he best Yorkville has to offer and that may be a bold claim.

I ordered a sausage and pepperoni in a very unconventional way, via fb messenger… They were VERY responsive and ultra friendly.

I’m honestly blown away at how much I LOVE this pizza. I love a tasty Detroit style pizza. Probably number 2 style for me next to tavern style. Takes me back to my favorites out in Cicero.

Is it something I’d get all the time of course not but y’all will be my runner up when I want pizza!

Will definitely need to check out some other options you have to offer. I’ve just recently discovered my love for sourdough so might reach out!

Thanks! Overall awesome experience!

Sweet Treats & Small-Town Charm!

The adorable mural on the outside of the building caught my eye, and I just had to stop! Inside, this charming bakery is just as bright and cheery as the friendly faces behind the counter.

With a tempting selection of cookies, croissants, and cakes, it was tough to choose—but we went with a rich chocolate cake and a barrel-aged caramel cold brew. Perfection! The cake was decadent, and the coffee had the perfect balance of smooth caramel and bold coffee flavor.

If you love discovering hidden gems, this bakery is a must-visit. Stop in, grab a treat, and soak in the cozy vibes!

Enjoying life one sip, one bite, and one small town at a time. Explore everything!

Food was good, cappuccino average but the price for two tiny breakfast sandwiches and one 16 oz cappuccino was $40 and some change before tip. I usually don’t look at the prices but I will now!

Everything we had was amazing! The croissants and gluten free biscuits were delicious! They have a ton of gluten free options and they are all good from what I’ve tried, but the GF biscuits are my favorite! Also, the drip coffee was really good too.

Absolutely the best bakery i’ve ever been too. the staff is so incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. since it was our first time going, we didn’t know what we were looking at and the person helping us described everything very thoroughly. a lot of it was sold out which is a good sight knowing a lot of it is good! we got the red velvet and carrot cake muffins and the cheesecake. absolutely amazing. i’m not to fond of cheesecake but this one is amazing. went back to get another slice!! so airy and creamy, not like any other i had. the cleanliness of the place was very well maintained. didn’t see a speck of dirt or dust on any surface. i 10000% recommend this small business.
