This might be the worst African restaurant experience I’ve had in Atlanta. I ordered pepper soup and what I received was basically salted hot water – zero flavor, zero substance, and absolutely not worth the $40 I spent. And yes, I even tipped, which makes it feel like an even bigger waste.
For the price they’re charging, the quality is unacceptable. I genuinely regret spending my money here, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to my pet

Absolutely terrible experience at Little Lagos in Atlanta. I ordered sushi and rice — the rice tasted burnt, and what they called Suya was nothing but tiny scraps of meat with a few onions thrown in. It looked nothing like authentic Suya and was completely unacceptable, especially for the price. I spent nearly $50 for something that looked and tasted like leftovers. They clearly cut corners, especially on late-night orders. Don’t waste your money here — this was a total disappointment.

Disappointing Takeout from Little Lagos
My recent takeout from Little Lagos in Buford was pretty disappointing. I ordered the Jollof rice with goat meat, which came out to a steep $34. For that price, the Jellof tested off in so many ways i couldn’t wrap my mind around it. The goat was plain but it has the texture I like in goat just too plain. the portion was small, and the packaging was nothing special just a regular cheap plate. To top it off, they automatically apply a 10% gratuity on all takeout orders (20% for dine-in). This felt like a hidden charge and, combined with the high price and small portion, made for a really poor value. The “smooth dining experience” promised on their website definitely didn’t extend to my takeout. I think this is more of a night bar/club than more of a restaurant.

DO NOT ORDER HERE! A WASTE OF MONEY! They Used to be good now not at all they just want to over charge and gone no quality food there are many other African restaurants that will accommodate better I’m warming DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE !!

The food was okay but overhyped in my opinion…I’m sure they are well loved in the area. The service was a tad bit slow and not the friendliest. Overall the best part of the meal was the plantains, and I was a bit disappointed with the pounded yam texture. The actual atmosphere of the restaurant/ lounge is really nice.

Ordered with Uber eats, ordered sprite with my order and they did not include it in my order but they charged me.
I asked for utentils and it wasn’t included either . I wonder how they expected me to eat and drink.
Very tasteless food coupled with poor service.

I brought 5 guests from out of state to this restaurant for lunch on 01/08/2026 around 2pm Omg the girl that served us was brutally rude and almost got into fight with one of my guest who accidentally got up and didn’t know she was standing behind him and almost touched her. My guest apologized to her, yet she continued to and rudely tried to fight my guest it was unbelievable. Never going there is she’s going to be around. She’s has this heavy proscription glasses on. We loved the food but her behavior took away everything we love about the restaurant. Someone should check her

I had a great experience today at Little Lagos the food was amazing, the service was spectacular the vibe was cool even in the early afternoon we will definitely be back. The owner and our server was Shag very attentive and personable.

The place has a pleasant atmosphere, but unfortunately, the food was by far the worst I’ve ever had. I’ve never tasted anything so unpleasant. It was downright sickening
