In January 1969, Sid Wertheim opened the first Little King at 80th and Dodge in Omaha, Nebraska. Over four decades later, people all over town still love the delicious taste of bread that’s baked on-site, quality meats and cheeses sliced right when you order, and soups that are second-in-line to none. Because when it comes to freshness, flavor and friendliness, folks in these parts know that Little King is big where it counts. Just the way Sid always wanted it to be.

Also tried their pasta salad and the frosted brownie for dessert both were excellent
I personally love the turkey sandwich, little king way, add mayo. Get a bowl of Wisconsin cheese soup and dip it. SO GOOD!
I was so excited when I saw they were putting a Little King so close to the house! It has been my favorite sandwich shop for years. I got the turkey sandwich and some chips today and it was exactly as delicious as I remember (it’s been a long time since I’ve been to a LK). The staff was really friendly, the bread very fresh, and can’t beat the fresh sliced meats and cheeses. I expect to be a regular here soon enough
Ringing my card in it didn’t want to take it and the dude kept saying declined oh your doing it wrong. Your still doing it wrong, card not accepted. I finally asked that he stop saying that and repeating the words on the screen. I used the tap function without the peanut gallery’s help and it went through fine. Needless to say I won’t be supporting the business of this location in the future
● There were floating objects in the pickle jar. The pans they cook bread with are disgusting.
● The Health department should come and check them out. This used to be one of our favorite sandwich shops but every since they’ve had the new owners it’s gone downhill.
● The 90th street location is even dirtier.
● Serious question for the owners, do you ever clean or sanitize/disinfect your place of business? How do you operate in this manner?
