What an unexpected treat to find masala tea on the menu! I was already surprised to see it, but the taste was another level of wonderful—truly great. It’s exactly the kind of seamless service I dream about, where I can just order ‘tea’ and be brought a perfect cup without having to make a single choice.

Coffee is always well made and beans are always well roasted. A small shop, but I really enjoy coming here.

Hole in the wall coffee shop that is probably my favorite coffee/espresso in the state. Hours are a bit limited along with the pastry selection but when they’re open it’s definitely worth the trip if you’re passionate about coffee. Owner is friendly and you can tell he really cares – each cup is always consistently amazing.

UPDATE: they have majorly updated their concessions, and it looks “wow!”
This spot is a one-man show, and the owner is as friendly as they come. The pastry case, however, is more “cameo appearance” than “main feature” — limited options, not often replenished, and gone before you know it. Seating? Let’s just say you won’t be lingering long — and parking is a competitive sport.
But here’s the thing: if you want a quick, no-nonsense cup of coffee to go, this place hits the mark. And the mint tea? Honestly, it’s the star of the show — fresh, flavorful, and worth a detour.
Hours can be quirky (I swung by one Wednesday at lunch and it was closed on the dot at noon), but running a shop solo is no small feat. For the heart, hustle, and tea alone, it’s five stars from me.

I recently stumbled upon a charming coffee shop nestled in the heart of Hightstown downtown. I decided to indulge in their medium iced Maple Latte, and let me tell you, it’s a game-changer! The espresso is the perfect blend of robust and smooth, powering me through the entire day.
The ambiance is welcoming, offering both indoor and outdoor seating. Due to its prime location, parking is a tad bit tricky. I’d recommend using the parking lot by the nearby park or opposite the Rise Thrift Store.
The only wish I have is for them to remain open seven days a week. They’re currently closed on Sundays and Mondays, and I find myself longing for their delectable lattes on those days. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and visit this gem!

We stopped in while on a road trip from Delaware and we were very impressed! The service was friendly and competent. The lattes we had were absolutely delicious, and the pastries were excellent! I purchased gluten free rasberry cookies without realizing they were gf and I couldn’t tell the difference. It’s worth your time to check this place out!

This is a great place to grab a cup of coffee!
A few of my friends and I make this a halfway point for our cycling rides. It’s a great spot to sit down and sip on a coffee before going back out on our ride.
The outdoor seating is quite nice, and the staff is very friendly. They’re definitely making this pandemic a bit easier to deal with!

Fantastic place. I found the liquid gold and I cannot “espresso” how much I Iove their coffee. You can also buy coffee for home. The coffee beans are slightly expensive but 100% worth it. I don’t think you can find higher quality and freshly roasted coffee beans anywhere in this area.

Little Key Coffee has changed my perspective of coffee for the better. Their roasts are absolutely delicious and we make it a point to keep their beans in stock in our kitchen. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. And of course picking up a latte or other beverage while buying our grounds just makes the experience even better! Thrilled to have this shop as a part of our community!

10/10. I’ve been stopping in every couple days for my morning coffee, as they’re conveniently located in downtown just minutes from me. Their espresso is BOMB as is their drip coffee. I’m so happy a good coffee shop opened in town. I’m looking super forward to summer weather and sitting outside with a great cup of coffee at Little Key.
