Little Jamaica was such a great find in the Wolfchase Galleria food court! We shared the Brown Stew Chicken with coconut rice and peas and cabbage, along with a chicken pattie, and everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich, comforting, and perfectly seasoned—exactly what you hope for when craving Jamaican food.
What really stood out was the exceptional service. The staff was incredibly patient, took the time to answer our questions, and made thoughtful suggestions that helped us decide. You can tell they genuinely care about the food and the customer experience.
If you’re at Wolfchase Galleria and want flavorful, authentic Caribbean food with warm, welcoming service, Little Jamaica is a must-stop. We’ll definitely be back!

I visited Little Jamaica with high hopes for a flavorful meal, but unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing from start to finish.
I ordered the Curried Goat and was told it would be ready in approximately 7 minutes. After receiving my order, I had to return to the counter to report that my side of plantains was missing. The staff acknowledged that the order hadn’t been dropped and offered to bring it to my table.
Once I began eating, I discovered the goat meat was cold in the center—clearly not freshly prepared, but reheated improperly. I informed the staff member when he brought the missing plantains, and he offered to bring me a new order. However, he never returned.
After waiting, I approached the counter again to explain that I had eaten the rice and cabbage but couldn’t eat the meat due to its temperature. I was given a small container of goat meat to take home. Sadly, this replacement was greasy, mostly fat and bone, and still not up to standard.
This experience reflects a lack of care in both food preparation and customer service. I expected better quality and professionalism, especially when paying for a specialty dish. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves both kitchen standards.

My family and I drive from St. Louis, MO. to dine here………… REGULARLY!! THE BEST oxtails EVA!! The family that runs this establishment are super sweet and we love seeing them. Even if we don’t come for two to three months, they remember us every time we come. Good people. The food is to die for, and I mean EVERYTHING on the menu is wonderful. They are tucked away in the food court of the Foxchase Mall and they are definitely a hidden gem!

Out shopping while visiting Memphis for the first time, and decided to have lunch in the mall food court. Spotted Little Jamaica and decided to have my first taste of Jamaican food. It did not disappoint! The well-cooked jerk chicken was supremely flavorful, and nicely balanced by the rice & peas and cabbage. I also enjoyed the Jamaican fruit punch. I wish I had time to go back and try a different entree. I was so pleased! Keep up the great work, Little Jamaica! If I’m ever in Memphis again, I’ll be back.

The food is usually good but for my last 4 times my oxtails haven’t been done. I feel like they cost to much to be undercooked and it is a bit of a drive to get them. Also the trays have gotten small also the portions have gotten smaller. But, the cost is still the same!!!

I wish plantain came in the meal but it was all on point. Y’all see the colour in the chicken? Yeah, it’s marinated and not “sauced” or just put on top.

In the most unlikely of places, tucked between the Sunglass Hut and a major Chinese food chain is a hidden gem of Germantown.
Being the closest place to me with oxtail on the menu I ventured to the mall. A journey well worth it. Everything from the main to the sides were well seasoned and delicious. The staff was courteous and friendly. And let me tell you fall off the bone oxtail. Don’t know when I’ll be back through Memphis, but you can bet your bottom dollar when I am I’ll find my way back to Little Jamaica.

I asked the cashier what her favorite meal was. She suggested Jerk Rasta Pasta. Came with a side of cabbage. I also ordered CoCo Bread. The pasta was perfectly flavored, chicken was fall of the bone juicy, and the cabbage was the perfect pairing! Bread was fluffy and soft!
