We wanted italian food out of the mainstream food chains, so we tried Little Italy. When you walk in and see all the impressive accolades, you figure this is going to be good. Maybe back on its grand old days, it was, but the place definitely needs some sprucing up. The food was ok if you’re hungry. I believe it’s the chef of the day that can make or break a restaurant, and my day just wasn’t a good day for the chef. I was expecting the good robust lasagna, and what I got was bland like they used box pasta, but some layers didn’t have any filling, just layers of pasta. I really don’t like doing these types of reviews, but it just was that good. The cake looked good but wasn’t moist at all. But maybe someone else will have a better experience than I did.

This place is wonderful. Service really was amazing. We were seated immediately, and the server was delightful. The cappuccino was great and so was the food. The bread was delightfully crunch but not too much.

Don’t be fooled by the outside. This restaurant is very large on the inside. They have been here for 40 years, and I can see why. The atmosphere is cozy and transformative. The service is great. Our waiter Romy did an excellent job and was a pleasure to meet. He gave us recommendations and thoroughly answered and entertained our questions. The food was very good. We had the stuffed mushrooms and meatballs as an appetizer. Great portions and the meatballs were so tender. Then we had the chicken sorrentino and the chicken rollatini. The sauces had great flavor, and we left extremely satisfied. I’m glad that I finally stopped by to try the food.

Everything was great, from the food to the service. I can’t wait to try other items next time. The appetizer pizza was delicious. So was the calamari. I was very happy with everything that was ordered.

It’s my 1st time here, after reading in the NEXTDOOR APP from the neighbors about this establishment. Needless to say, it didn’t disappoint! Service was fantastic, the food was delicious! The cold seafood salad was so fresh and light. It was a shareable plate, but I ate it all! The ambiance was casual and enjoyable.

We went for dinner on Saturday. We had a bigger party. We were sat in abt 10 mins no problem. The salad that came with the mail was okay nothing special. They brought us samples of some pizza which was delicious. My daughter and husband got the chicken parmigiana $20 which they loved. I got the ziti which was pretty small and had penne pasta not ziti not a big deal but I wouldn’t order it again for $16. My mother in law got a calzone and didn’t eat it at all. The eggplant Parmesan was delicious. The pizza was also good and so was the pesto pasta. The service I feel was pretty good and they kept our drinks full and did bring more bread when we asked. For 84.00 it was pretty steep for 3 people on our bill. The would rate the food a 3 but 4 because the service was good and the bread that came with our food was delicious.

I read about this place online. So, I had to try it. I must say I was pleased. It’s that funky, dated Mom n Pop Italian restaurant from your youth with the patio, arches, and red checked tablecloths. But don’t let that deter you. Your server will come to the table w a small slice of cheese pizza for you to sample. Everyone gets one. And it’s GOOD. I had fried calamari, which comes w a nice spicy marinara for dipping, YUMMO. The calamari was correctly cooked, not overdone or rubbery. The salad w entree is fresh and crisp. I chose chicken picatta. I truly enjoyed my chicken and sauce. Entrees come with a small serving of pasta, for which I chose garlic butter as my sauce. This is real comfort food. I got 2 cannolis on my way out. They are sinful. Try it out.

First timers! Mathew brought us a sample pizza slice..so yummy! Thankful for Mathew he also took our appetizer and drink order.. our waitress seemed very busy and working on one too many tables. The food was amazing! We did the trio appetizers fried ravioli..calamari and mozzarella sticks.. delish! We enjoyed some lovely merlot. I ordered the CHICKEN ROLLATINI chicken breast stuffed with spinach and cheese then grilled and sautéed in a sherry white wine sauce with mushrooms and broccoli. Amazing! Overall an excellent experience!

What a beautiful little gem. Everything in there is very intentional. From the wine bottles used as decor, the lighting and even the music. Its lost in time. It’s set back from the street so maybe not always that easy to see, but trust me once you know it’s there you will not forget. When you sit down they come to your table and bring you two little slivers of pizza. What a trick. Cuz once we tasted it we knew we were going to order pizza LOL. Started with stuffed mushrooms. Full disclosure, there were four. I didnt take the pic until we each had one. The stuffing was incredible and leveled up by that wonderful sauce. Dont fight over it. Or try not to anyway. We shared a pizza and we shared a lasagna. Not to sound ugly but next time I go I’m not sharing anything LOL. AND im ordering something to go! Even the bread with its toasty crust and soft warm inside was a pleasure. I’ve had good pizza and great pizza and was pleasantly surprised to have Fantastic Pizza. This crust was crunchy and toasty and delicious and carried all the ingredients to a new height. A great balance between the cheese, sauce and dough. Even the tea was good. There was someone coming around constantly picking up plates or finished salads and filling teas. I mean constantly. And not like where they were in your way or that you even noticed, actually a couple times I kind of freaked out that a plate was gone for instance I never saw her take it LOL. They’re like little ninjas there. They had a cabinet full of beautiful pastries. I kept eyeing the stack of cannolis. They looked magnific. It was pouring down rain and the lights flickered once and I told my friend if the lights go out I’m headed for that cabinet and those cannolis are on their own LOL. It never happened. Ugh. Well it gives me more reason to go back. And I will.
