We are lovers of East Indian Cuisine and this little place in Powell River is an absolute gem. Truly amazing, authentic food, probably one of the best we’ve had ever. You must pop in and sample their food for yourself. Forgot to mention that the prices are great too.

Stopped by for a quick chai before catching the 5pm ferry, and I’m so glad we did! The chai was absolutely superb, perfectly spiced and comforting. What made the experience even more special was the incredibly kind and welcoming owner, Mr. Rana. He was so sweet and generous, and to our surprise, didn’t even charge us for the Chai-tea. You don’t come across that kind of hospitality every day. The place had such positive vibes – we left with warm hearts and smiles. Will definitely be back for food next time! Highly recommend!

Not bad but not great. We ordered the lamb Rogan Josh and it had 0 flavour whatsoever. This place does not come close to comparing to anywhere on the mainland. Maybe their other curries are better, but i won’t be coming back to try.

We wandered in off the street and the aroma of the delicious food prepared us for what was to come. The staff was welcoming and made us feel comfortable. We both decided on the lunch special and today it was butter chicken, Dahl, Chana masala, green salad with an incredible dressing, rice and naan.
So filling and very tasty! I enjoyed every bite. The prices are very reasonable too. I’m definitely going to have to wait awhile until we go for that hike.
