We had it delivered and that went well. I ordered the pork chop sandwich to give it another try. It was good but, had bones in it again. I also had the 2 piece fried chicken and that was delicious. The okra was good, as well.
My mom said the livers had no flavor like no seasoning this time, The sweet potatoes also had no flavor. My granddaughter loved her chicken but, not the fries. They also had no seasoning. She loved my daughter’s sweet potato fries. My daughter said her shrimp and fish was good but, the fish (whiting) had bones in it.
One thing that shocked us and was extremely disappointing, the pieces of cake. On the menu they sound so good and one would think the slices would be like from other restaurants like this. Wrong. These were little prepackaged Sara Lee cakes. We were not happy at all and they were $4 each. Smh.

It was very quick delivery, which was nice.
The food didn’t seem to hit the same today. My usual pork chop sandwich was still good but, had a lot of bones. The collards had no seasoning. The fried pickles were soft and salty. The gizzards had good flavor but, were very rubbery/chewy. Mom said the loaded mashed potatoes were good. My daughter’s fish sandwich wasn’t so good this time. She said it tasted really fishy. Her Cajun fries were good. My granddaughter’s burger and fries were good.
We will eat from there again but, will probably order mostly different items.

I got a take-out order at lunch time.my French fries were so hot I burnt my tounge (good when it comes to fries). Fast and hot and it tastes good. Great place to eat. If ya never had it or had a bad experience give them another try. It is worth the money.

I was so happy with the chicken gizzards – I love gizzards and they are on so few menus – they were fresh cooked for me, crispy, delicious seasoning, big serving. I will go back to try the chicken thighs and okra, these folks know how to fry. And the service was TERRIFIC – so friendly, polite, efficient, and I admired how employees took time to respectfully and kindly answer the questions of some elderly people who were confused by the menu.

I highly recommend that you do NOT have food delivered from here. The breading becomes way too soggy and gross. We ordered the pork chops out of curiosity the other night and the breading was so wet, it wasn’t even attached to the GREY chops anymore. (Yes, the chops were grey in color and my wife actually got sick from them). The chicken is good but stay away from the pork.

I had the porkchop sandwich and there was a massive bone in it! And to top it off more than half the porkchop was bone so I barely got any meat and basically just had a salad sandwich. I’m never ordering from this place again.
Seriously bones in a sandwich?!?! I was in the Army for 10 years, I’ve been to a lot of places around the world and never have I ever been served a sandwich with bones in it. Come on man get real. ♂️

I should have taken the other review serious when they said they felt discriminated against here being white. 10 people ordered and left, 30 minutes had passed until I stood up at the counter and didn’t move, until my order got made! They can’t blame these small sample size burgers for waiting 40 minutes for food either! Or the instant banana pudding with 2 wafers on top they said they already had! And yes, I ordered the “small” burgers but I thought it’d be at least the size of the bun! I’ve had sausage biscuits bigger than this (after removing all the excess bread)! I honestly used to LOVE this place, but after tonight I will not go back again!

Best chicken I’ve ever eaten at a great price. 8 piece special chicken for 8.99 was delicious and the 2 patty burger for 3.09 was great for the price. The service is either 10/10 great or horrible depending on who’s at the counter. Cam’ron is very friendly and funny.

Mac and cheese should have been cooked longer. It needed some seasoning too. Very bland burger. This was my first visit, every customer in front of me complained about their order. One lady walked out because the price on their board was different from the price at the register. This place is rather filthy. The ceilings can easily be reached even without a ladder, the dust and splatter on the ceilings can easily be cleaned. I definitely will not be coming back. Please wipe off all your equipment. Everything is in customer view!

I called in a to go order, the person took the order and told me 10/15 minutes. After driving from Hwy1 area to get food, was told they were out of what I ordered. I frequent here often but the service has gone down hill and since they couldn’t even appreciate my business enough to call me back and let me know they were out of what I ordered to give me a chance to choose something else I will not be a patron here anymore.Tip don’t call at 7 pm and expect to get your order.
10/15 I gave them another chance. Food was ready when I got there, I forgot to get my two lemonades but that was on me. When the young man handed me the order I didn’t think to ask for them. Everyone enjoyed their food as they always do. We will chop the last experience up to everyone has a bad day every now and then.
