This place feels like a vacation all in itself! Such good energy from the staff and the decor! And sometimes it’s nice just to drive a little bit and get out of town and feel like you step into someplace else! Caribbean vibes all around! The food is fresh and delicious. We had the walleye and salads, and it was perfect perfectly cooked. we didn’t have cocktails, but we watched some fancy drinks being served to the other Tables and we heard that the rum punch is off the charts amazingly delicious! So good that people buy it by the gallon and take it home!! I have to say it was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon with the family. Absolutely family, friendly, and kids were having a great time. There was live music at the end of dinner. Great ambience, fantastic food, and all around a good time fantastic staff! And the prices For what you get our value for money for sure!

What a fantastic little gem on the outskirts of Manhattan, KS. My son and I stopped in as he’s been wanting to try this place for some time now.
Jamaican rum punch. Yes. Delicious.
Gumbo and Gumbolaya… yes. Amazing flavors and loaded w chicken, beef, shrimp, crab..
Jerk baby back ribs.. umm. Yes. Fall off the bone deliciousness.
Best of all though? Amazing staff. Friendliest folks around and you can tell they genuinely love their restaurant. Now so do we.

Great place to unwind and enjoy. The live music was a nice added touch. Island Kissed salad was incredible.

You don’t need teeth to eat here. Soft, slow cooked jerk chicken, hot cheesy potatoes, and seafood gumbo. All very delicious. Wonderful desserts with ice cream. Party room newly built – seats 30 to 40 people (small clean up fee). Bar seats 6. Restaurant seats 74. 120 total. Live music Wednesday and Friday nights. Great restaurant for date night.

We were very understanding of this since we operated a restaurant for years. We tried to be nice and understanding but we really felt like it was an inconvenience for us to be there. This place is definitely a gem! The drinks, the food, and the atmosphere are unmatched at any other place in Manhattan. Our server, Jordan, recommended the best choices for each course, and he nailed it! Each entrée had the perfect portion size, topping, and the hot cheesy potato salad was especially savory! I will definitely make a trip to this place every time I’m in town. Cheers!

Absolutely horrible service did not get my food until after everybody else had eaten their food…. Felt like the server did it on purpose cause she was the only server there and told us this when she proceeded to ask our names for three orders…. Why ask anybody’s name for tickets to be split lol anyways but we didn’t know what we wanted to eat so we weren’t ready and she didn’t really care I asked how about she take our drinks first and that was a problem to her she gave attitude and told me that’s what she was doing and taking the orders next because she was the only server bartender slash hostess and idk what else…. I will never go back again good food though but never got to eat what I ordered just everybody else’s plates which were all chicken fried steak… but good chicken fried steaks

Great food, great drinks, good specials, awesome people, fun tropical atmosphere, and walking distance from our campsite! Chips and salsa, jerk chicken, jerk pork chop, Burrito, rib special and spaghetti special were all so good! The brown sauce is a Mango habanero that’s made in house. If you like spicy, or even if you don’t, like me, try it. The flavor is delicious and they’ll give you a little container to take with you! Dont leave without having the rum cake. We had the banana rum cake with Caramel sauce and omg! We went two nights in a row and can’t wait to go back! I do wish they opened before 4 during the week, and maybe stayed open a little later than 9. UPDATE! We’ve been back several more times, and still love it! My son said he loved the wings. The power went out when we were there last time so she lit candles on the bar for us since we had just gotten engaged the night before! I added pics of the spaghetti and the ribs and the parmesan garlic pasta salad. UPDATE! 1/10/26 Today, the special was ox tail. It was so tender, it fell off the bone. So rich and savory. It came with red beans and rice, but I had mashed potatoes, no gravy, instead. It was so delicious

Food was really good and the drinks were amazing! We came to see our friend’s live performance and he also did not disappoint!! The service was great just a bit slow and our server was a little confused, causing my father-in-law’s food to come after we finished eating. Thankfully we weren’t in a rush and was enjoying the ambience. Everyone also is entitled to an off day and some grace. The place is definitely a relaxed environment and I highly recommend.
