First of all, I want to start off by saying that our server/cashiers service was amazing. She was very friendly, patient, and informative. However, our Tex Mex burrito was absolutely displeasing. The eggs had an odd taste, and the avocados were clearly outdated. The oatmeal was also disappointing and tasteless. While we weren’t looking for anything sweet, we expected at least some flavor; it also tasted old. The atmosphere was just okay, though it was very dim and made it difficult to read. I highly doubt we will be visiting this place again. Almost forgot the Summer Daydream Smoothie tasted like baby food.

One of my favorite coffee shops in Roanoke. 16 Church offers a lot so come on down and see what it’s all about! Highly recommend the chai tea latte and a scone makes it that much better.

Cute little coffee shop in an open space that is also a little market but the market does open up much later than the coffee shop.

Loved that we could bring our dog in to hangout. The only thing was that the individuals taking our order on two different days and different people seemed a little indifferent. We tried the Purple Haze and the Honey Bee Lattes. Purple haze was delicious but the Honey Bee Latte had a lot of cinnamon. We also tried their Chorizo, Sausage and Cheese Burrito with salsa. Great flavor but there was a lot more egg and not enough chorizo.

They also have a lot of pastries and baked goods. We did get a chocolate muffin which was very good.

Overall I would recommend, it’s a cute spot.

Quaint cafe surrounded by local vendor shops. The food and coffee were excellent, and they have a great selection of other drinks and smoothies as well. Mobile ordering available! With the balcony seating, this is an excellent spot to get some work done!

Inside of a cute and local art market. Visit the local bookshop inside! There’s a craft supply store inside that you can donate your art supplies that you don’t need.

Placed an online order and was given an estimated pick up time only. Went at at the pick up time and was told it would “just be a sec” for my food to be done. One girl cooking food and one boy making drinks but was not busy. Thinking that it would be “just a sec” I said that was fine. As I stood there and continued to wait I noticed there was a lot of food orders and the boy kept asking the girl if she needed help to which she rudely told him no every time. It wasnt until after I had stood there for about five minutes that I got a text from Little Green Hive that my order was confirmed. I guess that meant she finally accepted my online order and had only just begun making it. I wish I had canceled the order all together. She was hateful to her coworker and the food was not even close to being good. I ordered a Bacon, Egg and Cheese sandwich that is advertised online being served on a bagel. I got a sandwich on flimsy sourdough bread I think with what looked like dried up microwaved egg and hard cheese with paper thin barely there bacon. The Chorizo, egg and cheese burrito was also very subpar. Super thin pita pressed flat on a panni press with little flavor at all. I had always heard great things about Little Green Hive but todays visit does not make me want to visit them again.

My favorite coffee shop in Downtown Roanoke! They have great coffee and baked goods – haven’t tried any of their food yet. And I absolutely love that it’s inside the retro Crafteria! The upstairs is an awesome spot for remote work or to meet up/ hangout with friends/ clients.

GREAT coffee, adorable place! Have been three times since we arrived five days ago. Great espresso milkshake. . Highly recommend!

BONUS: Artisans have booths set up here so you can look around while enjoying your coffee and food. I bought a gorgeous pair of patina’d copper earrings, handmade by Hillary Hardison of coppermoonartva! And we got to meet her! Thanks, Hillary!

What a great little spot downtown for coffee and a nibble. The PB Açaí smoothie bowl was delicious and well presented and my latte was the perfect temperature and not too sweet. Great atmosphere and a friendly staff make this a must try spot if you’re in the area.

Cool little spot for a coffee, small bite, smoothie, juice, pastry, there’s lots of options! Everything on the menu looks delicious. I tried the Mexican Mocha latte with oat milk and really enjoyed it. The space has a ton of local vendors as well so you can browse around while hanging out.
