I really wanted to love this Little Greek in McKinney, but the experience was kind of mixed. Unfortunately, the lady who took our order was extremely rude for no reason, which immediately started our visit off on a bad note. First impressions matter, and that definitely affected the overall experience.
On the positive side, the gyro was bomb and the hot honey feta dip was great as well — both were flavorful and definitely the highlights of the meal. However, the chicken skewers were a big letdown. They tasted like the grill hadn’t been cleaned in weeks and were super dry, which was really disappointing.
I wish I could give more stars, but overall it just wasn’t as good as the Little Elm location. Hopefully this location can improve, because the food has potential.

The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful in guiding my wife and me through the menu. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and beautifully prepared. Had a veggie plate with grilled chicken, and it was absolutely delicious. Rice had great flavor, good mix of vegetables that were perfectly cooked, and delicious tender well seasoned chicken breast. The pita and the sauce that came with were just ok, but when the main bit is so delicious, who cares? The restaurant interior is nothing special, but the food is great.

Prices are way too high for the tiny, unseasoned chicken skewers you get. They were super bland and dry. Mediocre food overall. I could have made this better at home. I’ll do that instead next time, and so should you.
