They also have great meatballs and garlic knots. We love their thin and thick crust pizzas.
The place is adorable. Not huge, but super clean and cute. We love to get takeaway from them. They also deliver.
The prices are fair and you will not be disappointed.
The service is very nice. They take my order over the phone usually and just pick up. It is ready when promised and it is hot.
We just love this place.
Super friendly service too. People who really care about their product.
Original review: First 2 times food was good and quality. Nice and crispy Detroit pizza, but not straight up burnt. This time I ordered delivery through uber eats. Pizza was straight burnt. And was no where near the amount of pepperoni cups they usually put. Would they have remade it if I picked it up myself? Don’t know. But even if I wasn’t there to check it before I leave, still should’ve been remade. Paid almost 40 bucks. Couldn’t eat the food. Uber won’t refund. Went to bed hungry.
wowed to go (mostly) gluten free this year. And I gave myself the month of January to try all the places on my dining list, which break that rule.
So today, instead of church, I chose crust. And WOW that’s a good slice! I meant to order one square of pep, and one square of white. When I opened the box, I discovered there was a n extra pep slice. And I thought, I don’t have to eat all of it. I went outside, took a couple bites… And then proceeded to devour a whole peo slice and half of the white, in two minutes. I wasn’t planning to revisit this one, but that crust?!! There are a couple pies on the menu with spicy sausage, which I can’t resist. And the Snookie sounds amazing. How many days are left in January?
Little Dynamite lives up to its name, offering an explosive combination of classic New Jersey-style pizza and unique twists. My recent visit was a flavor adventure!
Starters that Steal the Show
I kicked things off with their “meaty meatballs.” These weren’t your average grocery store variety. They were plump, juicy, and bursting with savory goodness. The perfect way to whet your appetite for the pizza to come.
Pizza Paradise
Now, onto the main event: the pizzas! First up, the “Good Green” pizza. This vegetarian option surprised me with its vibrant mix of fresh toppings. It was a delightful balance of flavors and textures, with a crispy crust that held everything together beautifully.
The true star of the show, however, was the May special, the “Cowabunga.” This pizza was a celebration of all things meaty. Each bite was a party in your mouth, with pepperoni, sausage, and other delicious cured meats piled high.
Sweet Ending: Panzookie Perfection
No trip to Little Dynamite is complete without dessert. Their panzookie is a must-try. This warm, gooey calzone filled with Nutella was the perfect way to end the meal. It was decadent and delightful, with a soft, pillowy exterior and a rich, chocolatey center.
A Slice of New Jersey in LA
Little Dynamite is a hidden gem in LA, offering a taste of authentic New Jersey-style pizza. The combination of a thick, crispy crust, tangy tomato sauce, and generous toppings is sure to satisfy any pizza lover. Whether you’re a veggie enthusiast or a dedicated carnivore, there’s a pizza on their menu to tantalize your taste buds. Don’t forget to end your meal on a sweet note with their incredible panzookie!
We got 2 different pizzas. Both were delicious. The crust is crispy on the edges and soft and fluffy in the middle. The pizza sauces are good and toppings are fresh. We got to try the tomato sauce and a white sauce on our pizzas. Overall, good deep dish pizza. I do wish there was more sauce as it was really spotty and lacking in some areas.
Pricing is a bit on the high side. Almost $30 per pie and some over $30. I’d give it a try if you’re ever in the area.
