This restaurant was pretty good overall. I particularly liked my catfish taco! They have a happy hour, 3-6 on weekdays. It wasn’t too busy on a Friday night for dinner, maybe this location is slower than others? The food was decent. The ambiance is nice. They have a cool outdoor seating area too. The staff was great, and our server was very attentive.

I deduced to try this place billed as a Mexican restaurant. In addition to the Mexican fare, I found several vegetarian options and incredible delicious fried chicken with a pickled vegetable salad with a touch of spice. The pinto beans and rice were flavorful and light. I enjoyed a great ice tea and passed on two frozen drinks and a full bar
RAY provided great attentive service.
The venue is accessible with accessible tables, high tops, and bar seating with views of the legacy park and the kitchen. Outdoor seating with umbrellas.
Great vibe here with Motown music.
Accessible restroom.
Laminated menus are yellow with colorful letters and readable

Really good after work outing. The food was good and our server was really great. The only downside is the fire alarm kept going off and the fire trucks ended up coming. The happy hour drink prices are good.

The food was absolutely wonderful. You’ve got to try the Paloma. Margarita service was excellent and the manager was very friendly. I highly recommend Little Donkey in downtown Montgomery, Alabama.

Good food all around, little pricey. But much better than some chain. Service was well. Fairly busy at the time. 2-4 tacos were good. Enchilada were alright. Rest was good. Queso and beef was good but 11$ for a smaller portion.

The food here was great, and i liked the setup. Seemed pretty busy for a Wednesday night. Service was a little slow, but I’m beginning to winder if thats just a southern thing.

Stopped by passing through Montgomery. Nice restaurant with pleasant surroundings. Food was very tasty, although there didn’t appear to be much meat/protein in the burrito, particularly when it is an optional extra $. A number of other reviews have commented on similar issue, so this clearly needs addressing. That said plenty of guacamole which was also optional extra $. Service could have been quicker for the number of patrons at the time of visiting.

Definitely my favorite place to get great food, open environment and the staff is on point with their attention to detail. The manager even came by and ask how everything was. The bartender recommended the shot of the day and our party turned fun. Thank you Janelle.

For the price is a little much for the dishes served with minimal meat. Wait staff was very nice but service was slow for a lunch rush.
We were asked to wait 15 minutes (that ended up being 25) despite several tables appearing to be staged and empty. Waited ten 10 minutes for ordering, then 35 before being served. Was there a total time of 1:35 (could have been longer if I had the availability to eat unrushed due to my own time constraints)
The food was hot and fresh with amazing flavor. Place and silverware was clean.

Recommend for a date when time is not an issue. Not for work lunch break.

First time visiting this location. A little sad they don’t have their fried chicken sandwich with potatoes and a delicious dipping sauce

I got the supreme burrito and added brisket. Those additions brought my $10 burrito to $17.

The brisket was flavorful and tender, unlike what another reviewer experienced. However, the amount of brisket was very small and I will not get the brisket next time.

The burrito was delicious! The salsa verde was amazingly flavorful and added just the perfect amount of kick for my preferences. Red salsa is not as spicy

Service was friendly but more frequent water refill would be helpful if you get something spicy (or less ice)

Don’t sit at the high top tables. The chairs are uncomfortable, making you feel pushed forward.

All in all, that burrito will bring me back!
