We came in for dinner and drinks after a hard evening. We had a large group and even being busy the staff made sure to accommodate us quickly. The food was great, reasonably priced, and everything came out hot. Thank you for all around great service.

Great bar in a small town. The atmosphere is typical of a normal small town bar. Nothing too fancy. Plenty of seating. Menu has a wide variety of items. I had the deep fried pickles which were delicious, crunchy good batter went well with ranch dipping sauce. You can have your choice of either Spears or chips. Also had the Chicken club sandwich which was okay. Little too much butter on the toasted side of the bread for my liking but had good flavor. Drinks are very reasonably priced for a afternoon visit. And of course had the right proportions of mixer to alcohol.

Went here with family after mass a few weeks ago to have dinner. My mother and father had the fried chicken and rib dinner special. It was so good and they had so many ribs. There was so much food that we had leftovers to bring home. The ribs fell off the bones and were flavored well. My brothers and I had pizza which the pizza was delicious as well. I liked the crust of the pizza very much. We have been here multiple times and like it every time. We plan to come back later in the future! Would recommend checking this place out.

Mr. Larry ( retired Waseca auctioneer), who has a little workshop behind my neighbors house, stopped me the other day and said, ” So.. I hear you like a good burger?” “Why, yes, I do like a GOOD burger!” He said “well then you have to get over to Lil’Dandy. “.. well, if Mr Larry said go, then ….. we go!
For those who don’t know, we recently moved to Southern Minnesota and are learning the lay of the land, so we are open to all recommendations. Without Mr. Larry, we would never have found this lil’ gem…
This place is perfectly basic! Service was attentive, funny, and had great recommendations. We both had the Dandy burgers. The meat was so good.. it was fresh and tasted exactly how beef is supposed to taste ( since the covid lots of foods taste really “off”) I didn’t realize they had a salad bar until half way through our meal, so I’ll have to try that next time.

Great food! Try the Ribeye sandwich if you’re extra hungry! Huge portions and delicious! The place was packed on a Sat night so we ate at the bar. Friendly people, great food, Definitely worth a return trip!
