UPDATE: Unfortunately I need to edit my review of this place. I ordered pizza, calzone and my favorite meatball sub last night. The meatballs were not the same. Half were burnt black and smaller. The sandwich was inedible. Did not resemble the homemade delicious meatballs I first tasted on previous visits. There’s tasted store bought. Very disappointed as this was my favorite place to get a meatball sub. Not sure who is quality control here but they utterly failed.
The food was delivered in a timely manner. I was nervous about the cannolis melting on the drive, but they were perfect and delicious.
The salad was very tasty and the dressing had a good flavor to it. I particularly liked the cubes of cheese!
It was my first time trying Stromboli. I enjoyed it a lot. It was also filled with meats. Definitely going to order again. Thank you!
Someone else had picked up my two pizzas, before me because I guess reading names and verifying orders is hard for workers at little coyotes as well as some customers.
He had ordered 1 pizza , picked up 2 returned and ended up with 2 free pizzas and came back for “his” initial order, so that is 3 total .
I the meantime I wait an additional 40 minutes for little coyote to redo my pizza order , that I am still paying full price for by the way – I did not get my meal comped, I was offered a beer but I was driving so no. This does not feel right.
Pulled up and saw a short line coming out the door and thought this place must be good. Got closer to the register and was told it would be an hour and twenty minutes for a pizza. Thought I really don’t want to wait that long but I’m already here and wanted to give it a try so I place the order.
An hour and a half later I decided to check how much longer it would be and I was told another twenty minutes. Thirty minutes later it’s finally ready. So after two hours of waiting for the pizza I rush home and can’t wait to take a bite.
Open it up and it looks good. Take the first bite and I was underwhelmed. It’s just average. By far NOT the best pizza in LA, not even Long Beach!
There are several other pizza places in the area that are much better (I won’t name them so you won’t think I have dubious intentions) with less than an hour wait.
Didn’t even save the leftovers for the next day. Again I really wanted to like this place as it’s walking distance from my home but was left really disappointed.
