Absolutely gorgeous spot along the Sugar River next to The Mills. Their Dairy tower is a must try along with the mango pineapple mule. The scallops were so tender, with a great pairing with the pomegranate sauce and chopped carrots. Love this place, and our server was wonderful. Their soft serve menu is also very unique and house made. The duck breast was tender but the whole dish was too much on the salty side. Definitely a new favorite.

I ordered Baked Rockfish. Delicate flaky fish with yuzu berre blanc sauce. Homemade slaw paired well for the Lent menu.

Fantastic experience for brunch. Wonderfully crafted menu, freshly made and very delicious. Beautiful settings and ambiance of the format cheese factory and later butter production. Now a very cute Inn.

Overall was a wonderful dining experience! The staff was kind and attentive and the ambiance makes for a very relaxing meal. The food was very good, especially the appetizers. I highly recommend getting the dairy sampler and the eggs and bacon deviled eggs! However, my fiancé and I both ordered the chicken cordon bleu. While the flavor was good, the whole dish was drowning in sauce which made the chicken breading a bit soggy. There was also not nearly enough cheese stuffed in the chicken. Lastly, the whole dish was covered in mushrooms which overwhelmed and overshadowed the chicken. I will definitely return in the future to try more dishes!

We visited for a chef series dinner and it was worth the 90 min drive. Food was awesome, company was great but best of all the staff here are phenomenal. Sue(suay?) the bar manager is a star, makes a ton of his own syrups in house and comes up with a new cocktail menu sometimes multiple times a week. If you’ve never worked in a bar you will never understand the amount of work and care that goes into that and how impressive it is to keep up with. It’s rare nowadays to find people that care as much about the guest experience as he does and it shows in all aspects.

My dad and I went to Little Cloud for an early father’s day brunch. The food was amazing and the service was incredible! They went above and beyond!!! Very friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere, very short drive from Madison downtown which is a plus. Definitely recommend Little cloud and will be coming back!!

This is a must-try restaurant. The food is amazing! I haven’t had anything that wasn’t delicious and prepared well. The scallops and hash were amazing. My husband had the fish fry and it was also great. The portion is surprisingly large for under $20.

Stopped in for one of the featured dinners. The food was all quite good and reasonably priced for thebamount of food we got. Cocktails were solid.

context:
went for the sunday date night special.
the bad:
dairy experience was meh (definitely not worth the $30), same with the salmon (palette’s salmon blows it out of the water). lots of flies and unattended children.
had to switch tables b/c we slightly bumped the first one and it fell off its feet and became unstable.
waited 10 minutes to get check after waiter left to get us a box.
cost $90 after tax & tip
the good:
interior looked cool, and the bread in the dairy experience was great (there were only four small pieces though)
overall:
avoid, there are much better places to eat in the madison area for way less (ex: bartaco, palette, sugar river)

Sort of disappointed in our brunch. Flavorless Caesar dressing and rubbery croutons, but the salmon was perfect. My husband got the seafood Benedict and the cakes were quite salty, the eggs were poached a little too far and the foccacia was stodgy. The hollandaise was good though. Perhaps a few tweaks to be made. Good service, nice atmosphere.
