Although it has been multiple years since I have been here, I was thinking about this place today while in the semi. In particular I was thinking about the lemonade my taste buds were blessed with. I don’t know if it was a one time occurrence but the lemonade I had was just absolutely amazing, I might even go as far to say the best drink I have ever had in my years of being on planet earth. To whoever made the lemonade that day thank you very much and I hope it never changed from the day I had it. The BBQ sandwiches were great too, but I hope to one day travel through that part of Kentucky to get another taste of that sweet lemonade.

Great mom and pop place. I tried the BBQ sandwich. There wasn’t much of a smokey flavor but BBQ sauce was good and different. Fudge is worth a try as well! Will be going back to try other options

Small mom and pop shop with excellent barbeque! Worth the quick drive off the highway. Picnic tables under a covered pavilion, or take out. Smoker in the back, super friendly folks in the front. Awesome shredded pork sandwich. Super fast and friendly service. Homemade fudge!

So BBQ is very good. But I suspect most customers get it to go. Eat on site is outdoors, with a thousand flies. I would suggest they invest is some hanging fans to keep air moving to reduce flies. But good food. I could give it 4 or even 5 stars, but experience eating outside was not fun.

Its closed in the winter time but hey I’m still going to let you know about this spot. Its famous in Russell County lots of Country Music icons have even stopped in here including Wynonna Judd..Justin Moore and more. It’s just a really cool Mom and Pop shop to get great food but don’t expect to go there and eat indoors theres only a outside patio but I always just grab my food and eat on the go that’s the only draw back for this place and not being open during winter hours. But If your in the area in the Spring and wanna try something different and love bbq then look no further then here.

Awesome place to get a sandwich! It’s just off of the Parkway and well worth stopping. I recommend The Chop. If you decide to stop bring cash as they aren’t set up for credit or debit.
