I just ordered spring rolls and decided to try something different by ordering their crab rangoon appetizer . Big mistake and a waste of money on the Crab Rangoon. You will see why in the photo! The wonton was thick, chewy, the cream cheese filling (not a hint of crab) was sweet, and unbearable. I Hate wasting food given the state of this economy ,but I had to throw it away. I wouldn’t offer it to anybody! The spring rolls were decent. I wish I went with my first mind and limited my order to just that. I never leave reviews but wasting food and money hurts!

The delivery is quick and the people who work here nice.
I ordered chicken wings and although I ordered 8, it was really 4 wings just split in half. They were super oily. The fries were bad because they were soggy.
Fried rice didn’t have much flavor, it was heavy on the oil taste and the meat was boiled instead of fried. Each item was under $10 so I’m not mad but I wouldn’t dine here again.

I ordered from Little China Cafe for the first time. Walking in, the business smelled awful. I thought, maybe it’s alright, this is DC and it’s located on a lower level. The lighting was dim and again, the smell was rancid. This was my first time looking at the menu, deciding from a cramped list of 75+ options, I needed a moment to peruse! However, the woman taking my order, decided it was funny to RACISTLY poke fun about my need of time with a joke about, “Would you like chicken wings?” I’m a Black woman. That was abysmally out of line!!!

I’m confused about the ratings being so low for this place. Little China cafe is not a new age fusion magical restaurant with gold silverware. I think that’s what those people thought they were getting, but I’m here to set the record straight. I have one of those fancy Chinese restaurants next to my building I also live in China town. I’ll drive the 40 minutes round trip, because this place tastes like what i want my Chinese food to taste like. My sister and I go with the general tso’s, lo mein, fried dumplings, and who doesn’t love some solid egg rolls. I will keep going despite them not having Tiffany gold silverware

This is my go too for lunch near work (pick up or Uber Eats). It’s solid Chinese-American fare. I especially enjoy the appetizers (spring rolls, egg rolls, crab rangoons, and pan friend meat dumplings).

If I could give this place zero stars I would. We waited over an hour for an order that was supposed to take 30-40 min. In addition, most of the food was spilled in the bag and we spent over 10 minutes just trying to clean it up because the sauces got all over our room and clothes. We ended up being late to our event, which made us seem very unprofessional and given that this order was over $70 we expected good food and service. Instead we got the opposite. The website said the food would take 30-40 minutes, and that there was no delivery fee, however it took an hour to get to us and we were still charged a delivery fee. We called the restaurant to express our concerns and asked for a manager but we ended up talking to the man who delivered our food. After having to describe our situation multiple times, he was rude and condescending, and said he would only give us a partial refund if we gave him back all of the food uneaten. Dont bother ordering from here unless you want to wait an hour for expensive, cold food and bad service.

While waiting for our drinks for the nearby cafe, we stopped by to grab food from here. We received our food pretty quickly and it was good! I got the crab rangoons and they were one of the best ones I’ve had in the area.

Taste = Disgusting. Looked like my 6 year cooked it. Attached picture of fried rice. 95% rice. Too bad I don’t have pictures of the other things I ordered. Must be different owners because they used to make delicious food there
Health = Chinese food is notorious for using MSG (unless your a higher end restaurant). I felt horribly bloated the day after. They probably used tons of MSG
Service = Very convenient / easy to order
Price = High relative to the quality received

Ordered for dine-in, but got our food in a to-go bag. Despite informing the kid in the front, he insisted it was dining in. The food was subpar, and service was terrible. Won’t be returning due to the awful customer service experience.

If the cashier says your order will be ready in 10 minutes, expect to wait about 30 minutes, so consider going to other stores to save time.
