not the first time either. I guess im the fool in the end for giving it another try.
He then touched a bottle of what I assume is oil or butter—something they use above the area where they box the pizzas—and added it to my order. He packed the food right after handling his phone, without wearing gloves. He probably touched his face at some point too. Does he wash his hands after touching the trash? Does this location use gloves at all?
When I mentioned this to the girl who handed me my order, she said she had told him multiple times not to do that. Is he hard of hearing, or does he just not care?
I don’t want him to lose his job or have his possible mini-livelihood ruined—he seemed really young. But he needs to be retrained or at the very least told not to do this in full view of customers who are about to eat the food he handles. And if nothing else, he should be wearing clean gloves after touching his phone.
I mean, he is at work.
He shouldn’t have his phone on him at all, period. Either the management isn’t being firm enough, or his parents failed to teach him responsibility.
I wasn’t going to ask for a refund or make a scene, but this needs to be addressed—or I won’t hesitate to warn others not to visit this location.
Sorry.
