Reviews
As a dedicated Google Local Guide (Level 8 on this profile, with nearly 15 million views across my photos, videos, and reviews—and I am a top 10% worldwide for restaurant reviewers), I appreciate solid spots like this Little Caesars in Benson.
The pizza was nice and hot right out of the oven, and I really like how they cut their thin crust pies—those extra crispy outside edges are a standout. The large thin crust veggie with added sausage tasted good overall, and it’s great having a reliable franchise like this in a small town.
That said, with dining-out prices rising so much, the $21 total felt $5-6 overpriced to me. I paid for the veggie pizza first, then returned to add sausage (an extra $6)—that checkout surprise wasn’t ideal. A quick heads-up from staff on add-on costs would go a long way, especially for customers watching their budget.
Still a convenient option—keep up the fresh, hot prep!
The Little Caesars in Benson, AZ at 995 West 4th Street is a convenient spot for quick pizza in a small town, with easy Pizza Portal pickup, online ordering, and ten minute wait.
On this visit, we skipped the specials and went for a custom large thin crust veggie pizza. After paying, my wife reminded me to add sausage, so the staff kindly modified it for us. It came loaded with several veggies plus sausage, and it was tasty and hot.
However, the total came to over $21 for just one large pizza, which we felt way too expensive—especially when we were seeing Domino’s commercials all afternoon advertising two medium build-your-own pizzas for $9.99 each. Little Caesars shines with their cheap Hot-N-Ready deals, but custom orders like this seem overpriced in comparison.
Service was friendly and accommodating, and the standard menu items like pepperoni, cheese, wings, and crust options are usually a great value. Consistency can vary a bit, and waits happen during busy times.
Overall, it’s reliable for affordable basics and convenience, but I’ll stick to the deals next time to keep it budget-friendly. Still a strong 4 stars!

The manager didn’t apologize or anything- just said “ok give me 15 minutes” then walked away.
On 9/7/18 at about 1930 hrs., I ordered a Pepperoni/Pineapple with Sausage; NO cheese and LIGHT sauce. I specifically asked Kevin H. and informed him that I am ALLERGIC to the cheese and too much sauce will irritate my stomach lining. He took the order politely and went to the back to place the order in the lineup.
Ten minutes later the food came out and I asked to inspect the food. My pizza was bloated with cheese and I brought it up with the original clerk who immediately took the box back to the cook and I heard my clerk tell the cook their was NO cheese for that order and LIGHT sauce.
The clerk came back apologizing and said a new one would be ready shortly. This store in particular knows me as a regular patron and is aware that my contact with cheese will send me straight to the hospital.
A few minutes later, my new order came up and once again I asked to inspect the box and discovered it was without cheese and didn’t think anything more of it until I got home and went to feed my family.
The sauce was so thickly bloated and over running the meat that myself & my family had to take all the meat and pineapples off of each piece and scrape more than 95% of the sauce off onto a second plate, then replace the meat and pineapples.
Call it instincts, speculation, whatever; this leads me to believe the cook was mad because he/she had to remake my food. I don’t blame my clerk, because he was careful to ensure my every word was correct on the ticket.
If the management takes the time to read this review, and I hope they do, the ticket number is: #12175 and timestamped 19:25:32.
I would love to be able to give this store a 5 Star, but I can’t based on the care taken by the cook who (deliberately) botched my family’s dinner.
I picked pizza up at their store. Not a long wait. Good price. Good pizza…
….I want another one….
Note: Sorry the pizza is half eaten in the photo lol. Like I said, it was pretty good! Haha
