This is the second time ordering the Little Caesars deep dish. I was pleasantly surprised the first time of the quality and the taste. I am anything but a cheap pizza guy, I’m actually a sous chef, pizza chef, pitmaster etc… cheap food advocate, food quality obsessed, almost never eat out kind of guy. I’ve been very busy as of late and haven’t had time to cook, so I stopped and got a Domino’s Pizza. As the experience continues to be, it was god-awful and terrible but the price is right. And it will make a cheap turd!!! A week later, I actually broke the cardinal law and went and got a quick easy pizza that was made fresh at a local gas station that has a Little Caesars in it in Gaylord. To my total surprise the pepperoni pizza was actually pretty darn good and not as I remember how terrible the dough used to be and the quality of their pizza.

So I saw that they were actually making a deep dish pizza which I totally love deep dish pizza, I’m a Jets guy, I like the Jets Pizza but I don’t like the price tag that comes with it. Too expensive for me. it’s a treat once a month I might get. But on the Little Caesars app I got an ultimate supreme deep dish for $11.99. after a $2 coupon. The taste was excellent, the dough quality was excellent, but it just needed a little bit more cheese and less sauce and a little bit more cooked. So on my second attempt I ordered the pizza, I paid full price with no coupon and I got it with light sauce, extra cheese, and well done. As soon as I got this pizza I popped the top and looked at it… it looked like perfection and it was delicious I was so surprised and blown away that this pizza cost me $16 and was half the price of the Jets and it was delicious.

The extra cheese on top is to hold the items down and to me thats the best combination, if you aren’t ordering extra cheese youre missing out!!!

Always get extra cheese on anything you order here and it will come out 10 times better!!! But these guys up here at the Gaylord location have produced perfection and I’ve watched the guy up there several times making pizzas…and making pizzas is an art, you can screw it up real easy!!!

These guys hands down killed it and it was perfection I have yet to get a perfect pizza anywhere in northern Michigan. From one of the pizza chains!!

For $16, I was blown away at just how good the quality was and the amount of toppings it had. The cheese covered the entire pizza from corner to corner and it was cooked perfectly!!!! It doesn’t get any better than that, now if it had another half inch thickness with an extra 6 oz of dough and double The amount of toppings, be about the only way you could top it…lol…all pun intended…but then you’re talking a $25 pizza!

So for $16 it’s perfect the way it is, it was light but yet had enough toppings and enough dough to actually make an excellent Detroit deep dish pizza!Good job guys Will be back many more times, This is my new favorite pizza place! It’s easy on the wallet, good quality and great taste!!! Whatever you order just get the extra cheese it’s worth it!!!
Now I did read some of these reviews and I can see in the past where maybe things weren’t that great but I called up there to tell them tonight how good a job they did and just how tasty that pizza was The owner of the store was there on a Tuesday!!!There’s a tall dark haired guy making pizzas, he looks a little older to me, he definitely has some experience, maybe that’s what it took to get the kids out and get some talent in there flipping some pizzas the right! way!! But I can guarantee you this is the third pizza I’ve gotten there within the last month and they all have been very very good, So that being said, take it from a fat boy with good grub sense, go get you an ultimate deep dish, light sauce, extra cheese, well done &Tell me I’m wrong. Now you need to just forget about the technology part and the cashiers And let’s just focus on the quality of the product, everything else is secondary and can be improved on. So good job ALL!
Well done well done well done!

Highly suggest not going here. I went there right when they opened and received a pizza that was clearly from the day before. It was cold and the cheese was gross. They also put so much garlic on it. When I called the manager and told her, she was very rude.

There drive through window, hot and ready pizza is honestly the best pizza in town. I’m super grateful that they keep the price low, too. The next best pizza in town is three times the price.

We always have a good experience with this little Caesars but I wanted to take a minute to thank Nate B. He was outside when I arrived delivering pizza to a different customer and greeted me from across the parking lot. Then chatted while we went in. He helped me get my order and offered to hold the door on the way out. He was very kind and caring. I did not get to interact with the others on staff but as always our pizza was ready and delicious! Way to go!

Shout out to Tal! He’s a new worker there and he was AMAZING. Previous to tonight I’ve had horrible experiences with the staff at Gaylord little cesaers, but tal was amazing. He was funny, he was friendly, he got us exactly what we asked for and it’s all thanks to tal. GIVE HIM A RAISE. He is worth having on your team! And he has the most perfect white smile! Go you Tal!

Shout-out to Stephan at the Gaylord, MI Little Caesars. I completely messed up my order, and Stephan had no obligation to fix it — yet he went out of his way to help. Fast, professional, and genuinely helpful — employees like him make a real difference. Thanks again!

Company bought us lunch from here and I was the one who got to pick it up. I could hear a little frustration in the kitchen. But I immediately heard the kindness and understanding of the manager handling it like the fantastic boss she is. She handles and trains new employees so well. I have been a business manager and hotel GM. She is what I look for when I hire. You do whatever you have to to keep that woman there and putting that much heart into her job.

There was a lady who came to the window and said every body called in sick and they needed 30 minutes to make pizzas then asked if we would like to order and wait for a pizza when we said no she said peace out and walked away very rude I will never go there again. We wanted to get crazy bread and she didn’t even wait to see if we wanted any thing else.

It’s not too fun having a slice of pizza flop down so far that it scalds your wrist, then half the toppings slide off because the dough is still halfway cooked. They clearly don’t even look at the pizza when it’s “done” here… one of our pies stuck to the bottom of the box. What a disaster, the previous owners must be rolling over… thank God there are 20 other pizza options in town.

the pizza is absolutely horrendous and the environment of the place is terrible! you’ll never see the manager anywhere, maybe if the manager takes all these reviews into account and start doing something then maybe the pizzas and the environment would be a bit better and enjoyable! as for the pizzas they serve, well it seems like the cheese they add is pretty weird but if you wouldn’t mind eating a pizza with weird cheese and a place without a manager then this is the right place for you, maybe that also explains the long wait time because the manager is just never there to attend to things.
