9:54 PM. 2/9/26. Doors locked. Open signs on. Sign says open til 10PM. Not an employee in sight. One female employee wearing a blue hat left at 9:57PM. Just saw another employee wearing a red hat look outside the window at me and then dipped back out of sight.

There was another lady parked in front of the store and she said she had been there since 9:45 pm and that the door was locked then as well.

Little Caesars on 17-Mile: Where the Pizza’s Half-Baked and the Hope is Fully Cooked

If there were a loyalty award for “customer most willing to believe in second (and twelfth) chances,” I’d be holding a golden Hot-N-Ready box. For over five years, I’ve been requesting my pizzas from the Cedar Springs Little Caesars well done—crispy crust, properly browned cheese, the works. And for over five years, I’ve been met with the culinary equivalent of “eh, close enough.”

Today, on a bustling holiday weekend, I gave it yet another try. The store was understandably busy, a blur of orange shirts and frenzied ovens. I appreciate that hustle—truly. Serving up pies while the rest of us are planning dinner shortcuts is no small feat.

But here’s the rub (and it’s not garlic butter): despite explicitly requesting a well-done pie, what I brought home was once again underwhelming—soupy toppings lounging on a crust that was more suggestion than substance. I’ve developed a whole post-pickup ritual at this point: tray it, bake it, finish the job so the dough doesn’t feel like it’s still dreaming of becoming bread.

Look, I’m not asking for wood-fired perfection here—just a pizza that doesn’t need a second round in a residential oven. If a basic order with a reasonable custom request can’t be fulfilled, even on a busy day, maybe it’s time to pause and recalibrate. The team clearly works hard—I just wish that hard work translated to consistently cooked pies.

Because in the end, I want to rave about the local Little Caesars. I want to sing praises about hot, crispy slices that solve dinner dilemmas. But until then, I’ll be preheating my oven… again.

Messed up my order and still solid 5 star. Thanks to Joann (I believe is her name) at the front. She really took care of me after realizing my stuff was messed up.
Everyone makes mistakes but it’s how you recover from them that sets you apart!

At 30 weeks pregnant I asked my husband to get a pizza on the way home, needless to say there was only chaos and a lack of care to be found in the store and my price for trying not to judge the situation was 18 hours of food poisoning

Dumbest thing ever. They needed a pin before giving me my pizza my wife ordered and paid for. She told them I would be picking it up. They couldn’t even get out of their stupid automated pickup cabinet. Won’t be back. Customer service is really missing here. The kid behind the counter didn’t even try.

I stopped in and waited 5 minutes for someone to come to the front l ended up walking out. I never received any type of greeting or I’ll be there In a minute.

Every time I’ve stopped in there is NEVER any consistency with the food it’s either heavily seasoned or no flavor at all

Time to wake up

I called my order in 50 minutes before I showed up, the manager insisted she had no order for me. She argued with me and accused me of lying. I will never go back there again I was treated like garbage by management!!

It’s just a terrible pizza place. I’ll pay more to go other places in town at this point. The staff just ignore you when you’re there. They consistently send out terrible product compared to other Little Caesars. Just skip it and order something from somewhere else. Too many options in town to waste your money here.

I keep telling myself we won’t be ordering again and then after months pass, I give it another shot and it’s always regrettable.

Tonight we ordered a simple half and half pizza and they just put all of the toppings on the whole thing. Pizza wasn’t cut through. Was so sloppy. Breadsticks were overcooked and brown. Barely any parm on the breadsticks. Just bad. Not worth $30.

Ordered a half pineapple, half pineapple and ham. They put only ham on one half with no pineapple. One piece was just plain cheese. The pizza was not cut and when i went to pick up a slice it fell into a pile of crumpled pieces.

Usually have great service. But last time ordered on line 20 minutes late. Couldn’t find pizza. When they found the pizza it wasn’t even close to what I ordered. Made me a new one. Still not correct but I took it anyhow. They did give me free breadsticks. I guess everyone has a bad night occasionally.
