This restaurant is heavily hyped and aggressively promoted by influencers, but unfortunately, it does not live up to the praise. From the very first bite, it was clear that nearly every dish was excessively salted—even the salads. Instead of enhancing the flavors, the salt completely overwhelmed them.

The chicken parmesan, which is constantly highlighted as a standout and “must-order” dish, was a major disappointment. The chicken itself was tough, chewy, and so overly salty that it was difficult to enjoy. To make matters worse, it was priced at $48 and came with no sides, no pasta, and no salad, which made the value feel especially unjustified. At that price point, expectations are naturally high—and this dish didn’t come close to meeting them.

I genuinely believe that if the chicken parmesan had been even remotely exceptional, I wouldn’t be writing this review. But when a restaurant’s most praised item misses the mark this badly, it raises serious questions about the overall hype.

The fried burrata was the one bright spot—it was actually quite good. However, it was served over arugula that was so aggressively salted that I could only manage one or two bites before pushing it aside. Even a good dish can be ruined when seasoning is this heavy-handed.

This experience has made me increasingly skeptical of influencer-driven restaurant recommendations. I’ll admit, I probably shouldn’t have gone in the first place, but the constant praise made it sound genuinely appealing. Unfortunately, the reality didn’t match the online narrative.

I’m sharing this to hopefully save others from spending a significant amount of money on what turned out to be a very mediocre meal. There are too many great restaurants out there to justify prices like this when the execution simply isn’t there.

Might be the worst Italian restaurant in NJ!!!

Have been many times, but this was possibly our best experience to date! Josh is fantastic and always describes the menu and specials expertly. Parada appetizer was exceptional as was their tuna Crudo. The Roma pasta course is always cooked perfectly. The pork special for two won the night, however… Amazing flavor! Can’t wait to come back.

Little Buca is a fantastic neighborhood secret. The food was fresh and tasty. I especially loved the yummy little charcuterie app board they gave us before we ordered. That was a nice touch. The clams were yummy as was my house made pasta. And I was in love with their chocolate ricotta cheesecake. I will definitely visit again. They only take cash payments but don’t worry they have an ATM.

I had an absolute amazing experience, the owner took care of us and went over and beyond for our table. Josh made sure our glasses were always full and provided an outstanding atmosphere with his charisma and presence when he talked to our table. We had a birthday for our friend Ashley and the staff came out and sang happy birthday for her. The food was insane to say the least. From the appetizers to the desert , we were blown away at every dish and ate to our hearts content and then more. Will definitely be back and highly recommend to any foodie out there. 10/10

Josh was excellent! Ive been in the restaurant industry for 4 years now and I was blown away! The way he recited the entire menu, poured wine, replated and re-silverwared our table was very impressive. Great people skills and held the conversation very well. This place is a must if you are in the area! Delicious food and great service. Well done Josh!

Best dishes were the fried Burrata over arugula and prosciutto AND the pasta Roma… chicken parm was good, not sure about the dark meat chicken but I get it. Impressive. Service was great too.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Little Silver! A little slice of Manhattan in the heart of town! The service is unmatched. Our server was attentive. He noticed I brought a bottle of white wine and immediately brought over the ice. The staff truly cares about your experience from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Chef Franco is the real deal! Absolutely the best. He came over to make sure we enjoyed everything. Highly recommend stopping in! For a party of 3 we ordered… Little Buca Meatballs, Sicilian Salad, Tuna Crudo, Impepata di Cozze e Gamberi, and Zucchini Fagottini to start. For our main course we all shared the pasta Buca di Positano and Vitello Funghi. We all were able to take food home. They are very generous with their portions. For dessert let’s just say we ordered one of each lol! Can’t wait to be back!! The best dessert by far is the Italian Cheesecake (still dreaming about it!) The tiramisu is perfect, too!!

First time here, To start the pasta dishes are outstanding!
Imported from Italy by Far the best bagged pasta I’ve ever had. The server recommended the steak for two it was a special of the night. Excellent choice.
We enjoy the ribeye steak it was recommended to have it cooked medium rare. Came out perfect with an oreganata topping, potatoes were sautéed in EVOO. With rosemary to perfect!
This restaurant is in a strip plaza, which I would hesitate to go to, But not this place. I highly recommend it hands-down this was an excellent pick. This restaurant can handle tables of 2, 4 and 8 with no problem but I recommend making reservations as it is small place.

Can’t say enough good things about it.
