Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Little Silver! A little slice of Manhattan in the heart of town! The service is unmatched. Our server was attentive. He noticed I brought a bottle of white wine and immediately brought over the ice. The staff truly cares about your experience from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Chef Franco is the real deal! Absolutely the best. He came over to make sure we enjoyed everything. Highly recommend stopping in! For a party of 3 we ordered… Little Buca Meatballs, Sicilian Salad, Tuna Crudo, Impepata di Cozze e Gamberi, and Zucchini Fagottini to start. For our main course we all shared the pasta Buca di Positano and Vitello Funghi. We all were able to take food home. They are very generous with their portions. For dessert let’s just say we ordered one of each lol! Can’t wait to be back!! The best dessert by far is the Italian Cheesecake (still dreaming about it!) The tiramisu is perfect, too!!

Nice place, great service good food (not the best I ever had but it was good). Off the charts pricing. $48 for chicken parm, really? On top of that a little scoop of pasta would have been nice. Nothing comes with it. I’m surprised they couldn’t serve better bread. (That wasn’t good.) Cash only??? Really??? You walk in there with a full table and it could cost $750! Who carries that much cash. They have an but that more than it will give you. There isn’t even a sign that warns you about cash only. With those negatives, it’s tough to justify.

Best meal in as long as I can remember!! The staff were amazing, the owners are warm and friendly and the food is a 12 out of 10! I used to love going to IL Mulino when I lived in the city and little buca is even better!!! (And it’s in jersey)…it’s byob and cash only but wow what a great restaurant! Can’t say enough good things about it.

Don’t get me started about this place– we had an unqualified FANTASTIC time– full stop blast! And the BYOB made it even better. I like to bring what I like.

the entire experience was outstanding!! our servers were top notch. the mussels and shrimp to start was an A+!! I had the scarpariello which id say was the best incarnation I’ve had of this dish, and my dining companion had the tagliatelle with mushrooms and truffle, she was very impressed!! cant wait to return!!

Food was good. Service was ok. We didn’t feel special as noted else where. They actually forgot our deserts. Until we finally asked. Napoleon we had for dessert was hard and a huge disappointment. They were gracious enough to take dessert off the bill because of the mix up. Lovely clean environment. We will try again. Maybe not on a Saturday night.

Good food, but overpriced. This an extension (or new location) of the owner’s NYC restaurant in a NJ shopping strip, but they’ve applied NY pricing to their menu. Service was great. Food was very good, too. It is cash only (very weird – makes you wonder) and they have an ATM on site.

The food was good, service was good but prices exorbitant. I understand the whole ‘cost of everything has gone up’ but $44-$48 for our pasta dishes is crazy. We eat out all over this area but $100 pp at a BYOB is expensive, esp considering we shared apps and dessert! Been to top notch NYC restaurants that aren’t this expensive. We’ll be back when prices go down.

Authentic, delicious, cozy and inviting experience! I’ve been thinking about that cacio e pepe and chicken parm since I left! Can’t wait to go back for the Sunday sauce! This is fine dining, expect nothing less! It’s BYOB and cash only! I love it.

Delish food from start to end. Small plate of zucchini marinated in olive oil, vinegar, red onion and breaded to perfection served alongside tomato foccacia, salami, & hard cheese. Octopus appetizer was tender, light, citrusy, followed by burrata served on top of arugula and pomegranate seeds, and the homemade pesto gnocchi pasta and chicken parm entrées were to die for. You must stop in to try Little Buca!
