LBOE is a MUST TRY when you’re in Dickson TN, and the food ALWAYS SERVES!! My best friend and I eat here quite regularly. Our favorite thing on the menu is the Fried Green Tomatoes appetizer, and I can assure you that if you think you’re not southern enough to try those, you’re wrong. They are breaded with the most deliciously seasoned, perfectly crunchy, golden brown breading ever. It really does compliment the flavor of the tomatoes. SOOOO FREAKING GOOD! It comes with their ranch and pimento cheese, both of which are equally as yummy. My favorites are:
The Angry Bird chicken sandwich, the southern heatwave burger, the bet the farm burger, mushroom Swiss burger, and the sunday meatloaf. The Hawaiian chicken is pretty good as well. Everything else that my friend and family have tried, they have said is great as well. Also, LBOE is ALMOST ALWAYS busy, sometimes with a line out of the door. The overall order/appetizer/food/check ratio can occasionally be a bit longer than some places, but I can assure you that it’s worth it. REMEMBER: Don’t forget to be a southerner and TRY THE FRIED GREEN TOMATOES!!!

Tried this neat little place out. Service was good. Sweet tea pretty good. Fried green tomatoes were excellent especially with the pimento cheese. The house ranch was excellent. Buffalo chicken sliders were ok. Mac and cheese pretty good. Fries are great. Grilled chicken was mediocre and the faux on the sandwich tasted like packaged gauc off brand. If made in house. Please try again. Bathroom was kinda gross m, dark and slightly creepy. Would like to try a burger.

Discovered this place while doing a search for local places on the way home passing through Dickson. Quaint little restaurant with a great menu of items. We started off with the Mac & cheese bites which had a little kick , they were very tasty. Next, ordered the sweet & savory maple bacon chicken & biscuit. It was large and very good as well. Added the sweet potato fries for the side. The sweet tea was also delicious and served in a large glass.

Wonderful food, good big cuts of meat and great burgers, good thick and juicy! My first time ever reviewing anywhere that’s how good I felt this food was. I got Hawaiian fire chicken sandwich and loaded sweet potato fries, I didn’t notice the marshmallows in the description and probably would have left those off the fries but still very good just a little too sweet for me personally. Overall best food I have had in awhile. Only sandwiches and burgers mostly on menu would love to see what they can do with a bigger selection and more options. Excellent food and great service

We drove an hour to come here for my birthday dinner. We got seated right away, no wait for a table. Our server was excellent, for the most part. He asked us if we wanted appetizers, we said the fried pickles which then he said they were out of. Someone in our party wanted the Big Dill burger, so they couldn’t get that either. Then wanted mashed potatoes as a side, but they were out. How you can have fries but no potatoes? My 3 & 5 year old got the Mac n cheese bites as their meal, but they were really spicy! They couldn’t eat them. Our server never came back around to order anything else. Portion sizes were really small, especially for the price (the chicken tender Mac n cheese and fried chicken especially). The sweet potato loaded fries were good, but almost too much, overly sweet. Before we were even finished eating, our server brought us our check. He didn’t ask us if we wanted dessert, how are check was split…I wanted to order ranch to go, so I handed the check back to be adjusted for the ranch and to be split. It almost seemed like we were being rushed out. . We did all leave still hungry unfortunately.
But, the ranch was really good..the bathrooms were painted really neat.

We only try to eat at local restaurants, but unfortunately, I don’t think we will back.

Came here for lunch around 1 on a Saturday and it was busy but we walked around the main drag for 20-30 minutes during the wait. Inside atmosphere was cozy and the AC was barely keeping up with the heat from outside but it wasn’t too bad.
Our server was good and covered all the bases pretty well. The wait for food was slightly above average.
I shared a burger with handsome boyfriend and it was delicious. We also shared mac and cheese bites and a cinnamon roll and both were excellent (especially the cinnamon roll. I’d come just for that). Definitely would come again, great food choices here.

Everything seemed to be based around mac and cheese. So I decided to try it as a side item. I said the picture online looked like Kraft because it was orange. The waitress was confused by the color comment. She said it wasn’t Kraft she was right. It tasted like Velveeta mac and cheese. The loaded French Fries hardly had anything on them. The club sandwich was nothing special just a club sandwich. The mashed potatoes were good. I wasn’t told they were going to add an extra fee for the gravy or I would not have had it. That was a sneaky upcharge I knew nothing about. My drink was $3.50 for an iced tea. I believe they win for the most expensive drink prices I have seen. We won’t be back it was crazy priced for what we got.

I’m town for a seminar and we love to find different places to eat. I feel like this was a great choice. We got burgers and were very happy with them and the desserts were great. Ethan provided great service and if we are ever back in the area again will will return.

We ate there last night as we visited Dickson for a business appointment. The food and service were wonderful. Our server was excellent. He made us feel welcome and at home while we were out of town and his service was attentive and efficient. The food was delicious. We just wish we had room for dessert! What I wish to comment on was the Good Samaritan care provided by one of your female workers, I’m sorry I don’t know her name. After supper our car would not start due to a dead battery. Your employee volunteered to jump us off which she did and refused a complimentary tip stating, in effect, that she was just paying it forward for help she has received. Such a service oriented attitude is unusual these days and she deserves an attaboy. Congratulations on your fine eatery and staff
