Wow! This place is amazing! Tried their lunch special and it’s a true value in what you get.
The egg drop soup is really good. I love that it’s so eggy and you can’t taste the type of broth. Usually you can tell it’s chicken broth because it’s too chickeny. But this one is perfect.
You get water (honestly no need for soda) soup, those crunchy deep fried wonton things with sweet and sour sauce, and a well portioned meal. All for like $25! Can’t beat that.
They have the best brocolli beef I’ve ever had. The meat is so soft (I was able to cut it in half with my fork!) the dark sauce is really tasty and the fried rice is great too. No peas or carrots in it and it’s cooked to perfection.
My SO got the general tsos and loved it. We went back a 2nd time and got the same thing! It’s definitely consistent.
The employees are super nice and the waiters are on point. I highly recommend this place!

I had an awesome experience at Little Bamboo Chinese Restaurant! The dumplings were absolutely amazing, hands down some of the best I’ve had, and the rice paired perfectly with them. For my entree, I went with the shrimp lo mein, which is always my go-to Chinese dish, though I had to add a little soy sauce to really bring out the flavor. I also tried a few bites of my friend’s Hunan pork, and it was really tasty too.

But the real highlight was the wonton soup. I saw a mouth-watering picture on Yelp and had to try it, and it was easily the best part of my meal. I honestly think it’s better than most chicken noodle soups I’ve had, especially since I was starting to come down with a cold. The broth was perfectly salty and flavorful, and the wontons were just the right size and so soft. All in all, a fantastic meal at Little Bamboo—highly recommend!

We usually like the takeout but tonight was a disappointment. 2 orders of $20 white meat general Tso’s were not good. Both containers were lacking sauce and the chicken was overcooked and dry. We ordered 4 egg rolls which tasted good but appeared very dark like the frying oil needs changed. We also ordered a chicken chow mein which was good. In any case $76 for Chinese take out for a a family of 4 sharing entrees is too much. I hope this was an off night, their aren’t any better Chinese places around.

We were really happy with all of our meals, my little guy ate a ton of wonton soup, my oldest liked his miso soup. The Rangoon are not to our taste, we like them a bit sweeter but they are really crunchy and you can taste the crab in them. I tried pork with broccoli and garlic sauce and I would get it again, my oldest got sushi which was standard sashimi and then later ate MY leftovers

A Mon Valley staple. Great Americanized Chinese and Japanese cuisine. Been coming here since they opened. Always consistent food. General Tso’s Chicken with white meat is my go to. Never disappointed with any item I ever ordered. Friendly and attentive staff.

Lord almighty this food is A+ and they are really nice here also. Sushi was fresh, not fishy and tasted great! I am GF so I get the Singapore Mei fun, delicious. A+ Edamame was a little over cooked.

Hands down the best Chinese food I have ever eaten! Don’t let the front of the building fool you, it’s no stick in the wall joint. The inside is very clean and visually appealing. We were seated quickly and the waiter came to our service with some kind of crunchy chips and asked if we needed any help with the menu. The Hot and Sour soup was amazing as we’re the egg rolls. Both of our meals were outstanding as well. Highly recommend the Mia Fun Special.

I come here sometimes to eat, and I gave the duck a second chance because The last time I had it, it was hard Making it difficult to chew! I ordered the duck today and I sent it back because it was hard once again and it doesn’t seem like they even give you the full half duck, it was just a few slices of very hard meat With a bunch of vegetables around it! I sent it back and asked That I have something in place of it! They gave me something in place of it, and by the end, still tried to charge me for everything even when I didn’t eat the duck! I know how to do math and I know when they are trying to get over on me! I was not going to pay for something that was not edible! I will not be coming back here anymore because the manager had an attitude after I addressed that they were still trying to charge me for food I couldn’t even eat . I didn’t eat nor cooked right! I’m very disappointed that they thought I was stuoid enough to go for that

I have never had a bad meal here. Might be a bit pricey, but I think for the quality, it is a steal. We happened to just be in the mood for sushi yesterday, and their specialty rolls come with soup(not pictured). We ordered the pink lady roll and the tiger roll. Both made right in front of us. The presentation was phenomenal. How often do you see pretty food? Please give them a chance if you’re in the area or a local.
