Stopped in on 10/06/26 to try Beth’s famous biscuits and gravy, which are served only on the first Friday morning of every month. We originally learned about the biscuits and gravy because we stopped in the afternoon before to try their corned beef and Reuben sandwiches, so I’ll touch on both.
On Friday we arrived right at 9:00 AM, when they opened. Beth was also the bartender that morning. There were already a few people at the bar and a couple of tables occupied, which is always a good sign. We knew right away we were in for a treat after Beth welcomed us with her fun personality.
I noticed a large jar behind the bar filled with Tito’s vodka and a serious amount of peppers. My immediate thought was that it would make a great base for a morning Bloody Mary, and I was absolutely right.
After ordering a couple drinks, we both ordered the biscuits and gravy, which also came with scrambled eggs and bacon. The gravy was very tasty and not overly spiced. The bacon was crispy, and the eggs were fluffy and served hot.
By the time we were ready to leave, Beth had a full house, yet she handled everything perfectly.
I forgot to take pictures the day before of the corned beef and Reuben sandwiches, but both were excellent.
The great staff, friendly crowd, good food, and reasonably priced drinks make this a place we’ll want to visit again and again.

I would love to review the food, however the service was so bad I didn’t get to the food. Granted the place was busy and there was only one person tending bar and serving, however she had time to do shots and chat with customers at the bar instead of coming to take our order. The tablecloth was gross . Had a diet coke and left.

The bartender was more involved with her phone. We waited over 10 minutes just for her to notice we were there. Went to the bar and waited 5 more minutes. She had a group of her friends there she seemed more interested in them.

Great service but food left a lot to be desired! Husband ordered a burger mid-rare, came well-done. My burger was so dry I could barely swallow it! We only stopped because of the huge sign saying they were voted best burger in town!

Stopped in with a buddy while our wives were at a show at Tinley. This is a cash only establishment. Staff was attentive and friendly, though we were almost the only patrons at the time. Didn’t try the food because the amount of far right paraphernalia and signage in the place made it explicitly clear that we weren’t the preferred customers. So after the initial beers we left room for more politically inclined customers.

First time stopping by, because we were working down the street. But definitely not the last time I’ll be stopping in! The atmosphere is great, the bartender was super friendly and nice, the food was absolutely amazing too! I highly recommend this place for a good sandwich and a nice cold beer to wash it down!
