I love trying new places, this one was a gem. I ordered the special, German Goulash with potato salad. Comfort food at its best! It is not very big and even though it was just after lunch when I can, there was a fairly constant stream of people. Service was excellent and the food was also. There is ample parking and the bathroom was very clean.

My one and only go to place for bread and pastries for a little over a year now! They also have German chocolates, jams, coffee, etc. I have yet to try the Napoleon torte, but I already heard it is delicious!

Everything is delightful about this place. The sunny, spartan decor leaves room for enjoyment of the delicious food. We got pastries and coffee, but there is a full lunch menu. The service was attentive, quick, and friendly. They also sell retail European food products and bakery goods. Nothing to not like about this perennial Omaha favorite.

I have enjoyed dining at the Lithuanian Bakery & Kafe spanning 17 years. It regularly offers a casual and atmosphere where you can choose from an assortment of sandwiches, soups and desserts.

Ah, the smells as you enter… awesome authentic food. Love the traditional foods and the little things you can buy to make your kitchen happy. Love it.

Not fancy, but simple and delicious. Menu includes house made soups; sandwiches on fresh bread; sausages-knackwurst, bratwurst, kielbasa; tuna, chicken and egg salads; pickled vegetables, saurkraut and amazing pastries.

I love this local place! I know it doesn’t sound exciting, but their veggie sandwich is so, so, good. And their fruit rafts *chef’s kiss*. Plus, getting a torte is always a show stopper at parties. Check them out if you haven’t already!

Delicious pastries and friendly staff! Our favorites are the apple dumplings and cherry turnovers: pastry is nice and flaky and the amount of filling is ample. I’ve never been to the cafe’ on 33rd, but the Pacific street location is not large. They have a small area with tables and chairs for lunch customers or pastry eaters who aren’t “taking out” right away. The lighting is a bit dim, especially in the retail area. The two gentleman who were working when my Mom and I were there on December 14th were super nice!
