Overall very high quality food. Fried meatballs tasted good a touch on the dry and firm side texture wise. Possibly too much breading in the mix or slightly overcooked. Arugula salad was fresh and the dressing was nice. A touch on the sweet side. Pizza Pappa had some real heat in the peppers so it was great. My veal Milanese is well prepared and a bit different than traditional. They didn’t pound the fillet and the coating is slightly less crispy. Still very enjoyable. The arugula again was very fresh. I would suggest they serve some lemon slices with it. A drizzle of fresh lemon juice really brings out the flavors. The waiter Brandon did oblige us with a few slices so all is well. Coffee chocolate chip gelato is excellent. Surprisingly notable is their private label Chianti. $12/glass but tasted superb. The walls were decorated with artwork by the proprietor’s wife and added quite a bit of ambiance. Well done

The homemade Italian cuisine was exceptional. Generous portions were thoughtfully presented and accompanied by warm, house-made sourdough bread with a wonderfully delicate, melt-in-your-mouth texture. An experience that is truly worth both your time and will make your family/friends happy.

Great food, great service (ask for Brandon!).
We had the Porcini Ravioli (amazing sauce) and the Shrimp Scampi, and both were amazing. The bread is great, and so was the wine that Brandon recommended with our food.
Tiramisu was good – a very cream-cheesy top to it – as was the espresso.

We had seen reviews for this restaurant, so we decide to give it a try and this ended up being the cutest restaurant! They have an inside and outside patio as well as market seating. We got there today around 5:00pm and they sat us immediately.

The waitress was so sweet and kept checking on us and recommended items on the menu. Our food was delicious, but my veal could have used some sauce as it was a little dry, but yummy in taste.

The reason for four stars is because the restaurant was incredibly hot. The temp read 80 degrees inside and it had been a hot day out.

Also, there is no restroom in the restaurant and they have one ladies and one men’s room in the hall of the shops. The ladies room had 2 stalls, 1 was locked and the other one was let’s just say horrible. So I asked the waitress if there was another restroom and she directed us to the second floor, so we took the elevator up. That bathroom was much better, but that is crazy that the restaurant does not have their own restroom for their upscale prices.

Welcome to fine dining in Pinehurst. Here is my summary of this amazing Italian place which was recommended to us by a local and it did not disappoint. We were told to reach there early by its opening time of 4 PM or else we would have to wait. We were the second to reach there and within 15 -20 min, the entire place was packed.

1) Ambiance 5/5: Great setting with both inside and outside seating with shade. They have a bar there as well.

2) Service 5/5: The service was quick and delightful. At the entrance, we had people help take our names and escort us to our seating while the lady taking care of us was very helpful as I wanted some vegan options. She even enquired and confirmed me the things I could eat.

3) Food 5/5: My family absolutely loved all the food here. I just had salad and bread and here is my experience:

a) Complimentary bread: Generally people dont talk about it but it was the highlight of my experience. We were told that the bread here was amazing and it sure was. Either we were really hungry or the bread was delicious since we had 2-3 baskets of it. I guess it was both 🙂

b) Farro Estivo: It had wheat grains and was delicious. I liked it.
c) Rigatoni alla vodka: My wife had this and she loved it.

4) Value for Money 5/5 – This is a fine dining place so do not expect it to be cheap but it was totally worth it.

In the end, totally worth the hype! Make sure you come here early to escape the wait time and don’t miss he bread 😉

The Good:

1) The bread
2) Service
3) Pasta

Not So Good:

1) Nothing that I can think of except the price(which is kind of understood since this is fine dining)

We may have just found our new favorite Italian restaurant! The gnocchi was a fresh and surprising mouthful of perfection. The lobster ravioli was also delicious with chunks of lobster inside. The strawberry gelato was smooth and creamy. The atmosphere was trendy and the service was angelic (because our server’s name was Angel and she did great). We’ll definitely be going back soon!

My colleagues and I were in town on a business trip and had heard this was the best Italian restaurant in the area—and it certainly lived up to the reputation. We arrived around 7 PM on a Wednesday, only to be told there would be an hour wait. That alone spoke volumes about the restaurant’s popularity. Fortunately, we were seated after about 45 minutes at a lovely outdoor table. The weather was perfect, making the al fresco dining experience even more enjoyable.

As for the food and drinks, everything we ordered exceeded expectations:

• Pinehurst Local Draft: A light, refreshing blonde ale with a hint of citrus—crisp and perfect for a warm evening.

• Fried Meatballs: A house favorite and rightly so. These bite-sized delights had a crispy exterior and a juicy, flavorful interior. The red sauce was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of saltiness. Highly recommended.

• Verdura Al Forno: Cheesy brussels sprouts done right. They were charred to perfection, with melting cheese and diced bacon adding rich, savory depth. The crostini on the side added a satisfying crunch—delicious from start to finish.

My colleagues ordered the Lisi Pizza, Chicken Parmesan Pasta, and Porcini Ravioli, paired with a bottle of Cade wine. They couldn’t stop raving about both the wine and their meals.

Overall, this restaurant is an excellent choice for a casual yet memorable dinner with friends or family. The food, ambiance, and service made it well worth the wait.

I think this is THE best Italian food I had in a long time if ever. We got the Arugula side salad, Cavatelli alla vodka which was amazing and Porcini Ravioli and it was phenomenal. Tiramisu and their gelato was so good too!! We got there at 4:30 on a Saturday for an early dinner with a toddler and we were sat right away- they don’t do reservations and it got very very busy right after! Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. I cannot wait to go back!

We had an early dinner & the service was good, both my husband and his sister had a pasta dish & expressed light sauce…that probably wasn’t told to the kitchen staff…too much sauce drowned the fettuccine. Not ordering that again. My lobster ravioli in cream sauce was good.

This is best Italian spot in the county. Been going for years and my husband and I come for every special occasion. The pasta is insanely fresh, and the prices are fair for the quality of product delivered. Hoping they are here for countless years to come.
