There was no “salad” I wanted that they sell. I asked the girl at the register. She said if its not there they are out. Up pops up a manager who said no, there’s more in the back, ill get you one. So nice of him, but someone that they should check in the back before saying no! Very irritating! May not shop there again….which is sad for me.nnsandwiches are good, “salads” great, and baked foods ….fabulous. but if you cant have your register people know what to do….thats not good customer service.
Oh, and I live 45min away…drive there just for the “salad”

I didn’t go to the bakery itself. I purchased a sesame seeded Italian bread at my local ShopRite yesterday (2/22/26) in preparation for the satanic blizzard.
The bread was among the BEST I ever had. It was fresh and crusty. I will certainly purchase Liscio’s sesame seeded Italian bread again.

I have been thinking about an Italian sub and a Turkey and cheese for a while now and definitely on a seeded roll! While on my break I was scrolling through Tik Tok I stumbled upon a Liscio’s bakery review and I definitely like your rolls so when I got off at 6:30 am I was on my way there!! I ordered the old world Italian and a specialty turkey and cheese. That ITALIAN IS DEFINITELY THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!!! No if ands or buts about it!! Didn’t get to try the turkey yet. To be continued!! Took me 2 hours to get there and back home and when I get that craving again I will definitely be back!

Last week my son purchased a strawberry shortcake. It was mostly all whipped cream that had no taste at all and the strawberry filling was mostly a gel like substance with barely any strawberries. I threw most of it away because the cake was so stale it was inedible. All for $32.00. I told him to never go back again.

I hate only giving 3 stars because I’m a Liscio’s fan but we’ve given this Glassboro store a few tries and each time are disappointed. The donuts were good but the individual desserts were not. All the desserts we tried had that fake greasy whipped cream in and on it, the Italian rum tasted of nothing. No rum flavor, not even the pudding had flavor. The Tres Leche had canned fruit on top and had that same “nothing” flavor. You couldn’t taste any of the 3 milks. Even the Oreo cake, which is my 12 year old son’s favorite, wasn’t good. He took 2 bites and the rest has been in the fridge. We bought a dozen rolls and they are delicious and that’s primarily why we go but always like to try the desserts. They were a fail. I don’t know why, maybe it’s the mass batches they are making. I just wished they added some flavor to their desserts and got rid of that whipped cream. If not, I’ll stick to the rolls.

We have been receiving our sub rolls from Liscios for many years. It hasn’t been until recently (8 July and 15 July 2021) where we have come across this problem. This driver has not brought our bread inside whatsoever. Obviously this driver does not care.
Squirrels have munched on the bread that was purposefully left outside.
Liscios has been contacted about this problem before.

16 July 2021 The driver picked up one stack of the bread boxes but not the stack directly behind it! Once again, the driver left our new bread OUTSIDE! We have contacted Liscios about this problem and STILL nothing has been done.

2 Sept 2021 The delivery driver did not bring in our bread AGAIN. We have contacted Liscios about this problem once again! Nothing has been done! Ridiculous!

7 Sept 2021 And once again, the driver did not bring our bread in and did not pick up the empty bread boxes. Really?
Liscios has been contacted every time. Nothing has been done. Time to find a better bread company.

I don’t think they do a quality check here. This is what they consider a $13.99 pumpkin pie. Sad. I don’t understand how they would be comfortable sending this out to anyone. They also like to give stores day old rolls and call it “fresh”.

I tried to order Vilotti Veggie hoagie, but the computer charges extra for items that are standard on the sandwich, and eggplant isn’t on the computer as an option – so their ordering system has lots of errors. Also asked to have it toasted because Liscios bread doesn’t have much of a crust (but the person didn’t read it). Got the sandwich home – NOT toasted, and was a soggy mess where the spinach was (they didn’t drain the water?). It could have been a good hoagie but was made in a sloppy careless manner.
I had stopped going to Liscios years back when I discovered Pal Joeys, which has much better bread and hoagies.
Liscios pastries and pizza are fine, but their bread has no crusty crust and their hoagies are awful. A $13-$14 hoagie shouldn’t be a soggy mess. I had hoped the new Liscios would be better than this, and that they would do better quality hoagies. They’re right– it starts with the bread–but their bread isn’t that great. This new Liscios is like the old one and is new, but not improved.
