So I guess they listened to yall, cause the dressing wasn’t salty at all, it was good! In fact all my food was good! I had baked chicken and dressing, green beans, mac and cheese, and blackeyed peas with TWO cornbread. Lol. I was in town visiting my baby brother in the Cliff and this is where he suggested. Next time im here imma try the catfish and cobbler. But yeah, my experience was solid, frfr.

The food wasn’t horrible but way too salty for me. The baked chicken was good but the dressing was tasteless and salty, macaroni was not cheesy and the chocolate cake was dry and tasted like it was a box cake . Sorry but this establishment needs to learn how to season with something other than salt. Someone recommended this place to my husband so I couldn’t comment on the service and atmosphere but I will definitely pass on eating here again

The food slaps!!! One day, I was blessed enough to get some wings coming fresh out! Those were the best wings I’ve had all year! The seasoning was IMPECCABLE!!! The greens are tender and delicious, and the cornbread is perfect! The red kool-aid is amazing. If you come on a Sunday, be prepared to wait!

I have been here several times. The food is not horrible, but could be better. My issue is they open at 11am, I arrived at around 11:30a was in line for 30 min. When I get to the order station they were out of dressing and stated ” none aint ready til 1oclock”… so your saying you just opened and you already out of a main selling item (I’m thinking it was probably what was left over). The cashiers are always A-1, its this one line person that has a horrible attitude no matter the day or time. The atmosphere is run down and needs much cleaning and simple repairs. As stated the food is not horrible, but it needs a lot of work and better service and preparation.

The meal was great. The bourbon chicken fell off the bone. The corn and greens were good too. I got a piece of chocolate cake and I don’t know what happened to it. It was dry. Overall I would go back but I won’t be getting the chocolate cake.

I would give them a 5 Star but to run out of cornbread everyday is sad and you have to wait 10 to 20 minutes. Don’t offer no courtesy drink of anything. They need to do better. I can see them running out of certain items but out of cornbread before 1:30 and that’s on most days.

I had been to Lisa’s when it was on Camp Wisdom and it was good. Today was my first time going to the Red Bird location. The food was good and you get your moneys worth. Your meal comes with a dessert and 20 oz beverage under $20 for majority of the dinners. Must say I had never had smothered RIBS!! Now them joints were off the chain, the chess pie and kool aid! The other items were good/ decent. The line and the service was absolutely ridiculous. I stayed in the line for exactly one hour. The workers def do not have a sense of urgency. The line at SGB moves faster than that. I will go again but not on a Sunday unless it’s at the crack of dawn.

I got baked chicken dressing, mac & cheese and for corn. The dressing was so salty it’s ridiculous. The baked chicken was so dry. The corn taste like it was kept over from days ago and they just warmed it up It was not worth $17.50. And the crazy thing is, I read the Reviews and I still decided to try here and many people said in the reviews that the dressing was salted and they wasn’t lying

This place brought back some great memories of living in the south. The staff is so sweet and polite. The food is heart and tummy warming. My favorite was the pork chop. Juicy and full of flavor. Don’t skip the mac n cheese! You’ll be so sorry. I’m definitely going to come back to try the chicken next time.
