Ordered a full salad with grilled chicken, olives and cranberries- I got the half plate with six small pieces of chicken, no olives and no cranberries
When asked she said they had no olives and most of her customers don’t like cranberries so she didn’t put them on! I told her I ordered this salad because of the berries and olives.
Husband ordered the half plate of another kind of salad, he got a full plate.
When we asked the plate sizes we were told mine was a full plate.
It was delicious, however the service was not very professional.

Stopped in for breakfast on a road trip, and was not disappointed.
Cool country atmosphere, attentive and humorous waitress, and reasonable price. Breakfast was good, and portions were spot on for a couple of not BIG eaters.

Lisa’s has become one of our regular stops. Every time the quality of the food is excellent. Good variety on the menu and we’ve never had anything we didn’t like. Today I had the halibut fish and chips. Excellent quality. However, I only received half of the fish I anticipated or would expect with the meal. We also don’t order dessert because it is way too expensive. About $10 for a slice of pie. Yikes. Everything else is great!

If you’re passing through Nephi, you absolutely have to stop by Lisa’s Country Kitchen. This place is a true hidden gem. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. The service is top-notch; the staff is friendly and attentive, and our food arrived quickly. The portions are generous, and everything tasted like a home-cooked meal made with real care. Its convenient location right on Main Street makes it the perfect pit stop. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food and a friendly vibe!

Saw this new restaurant (it wasn’t here last time we were in Nephi) on our way home from leaf peeping around Nebo Loop. We were very happy that we stopped in. Food was great! We had the BLT & Navajo Taco.

Maybe being from Ga affects our rating of “Country Cooking”. Chicken fried steak and soup – Ok. Fries tasted like they hadn’t been completely cooked, then left to cool for a week and reheated in a microwave. That is all on that plate.

New York Strip – Hardly – marbled with so much fat it was impossible to cut around it. There was no section of steak you could eat without fat, and if you did the taste was worse. Maybe a bottle of A1 or something would have made it better, but that’s when you know you’re not eating a steak.

Carrots and bread real were good. ‍♂️. If we weren’t traveling we maybe would have taken the food home to feed the dog….. naaaa.

Do you know where Nephi is? It’s not quite the middle of nowhere, but you can see it on your way there. If you are in Nephi by some crazy chance you need to stop here and get refilled. We had the Navajo taco, chicken fried steak, chicken strips and a grilled cheese. Clam chowder, a slice of apple pie and a slice of white chocolate blue berry cheesecake. We were here alongside a party of twenty and two parties of six each, that walked in at the same time. The service was great. The food was great. The atmosphere is pretty awesome. Too bad It’s a long ways from my home or I would be here all the time.

The menu posted online shows prices that are $5–$8 cheaper than what they actually charge in the restaurant. That feels misleading and unfair.
As for the food — it was honestly very low quality. The burgers had no seasoning at all, completely bland. The bread tasted old and stale, and the fries were soggy and limp instead of crispy. For the prices they’re charging, the quality should be much better.
Customer service is really poor.
Overall, not worth the money and definitely not a place I would return to.

Love this place! Best country fried steak out there!
Service is always great. Food is always fast and fresh! The restaurant atmosphere is always good. Even when they are busy as could be they do their best to get food out fast! Always recommend this place to my friends when they come through town

I truly wish I had taken the time to read all of the reviews before deciding to dine at this restaurant. Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I have had in a long time, both in terms of food quality and portion size. I have never encountered a restaurant that was so cheap with the quantity of food being served while simultaneously charging such inflated prices.
The kids’ meal was especially shocking. The fries that came with it were literally eight pieces or fewer, which is unacceptable by any standard. The cheeseburger entrée was equally disappointing—it looked more like a compact mini beef slider than a full-sized burger. The portions across the board were extremely small, and the quality did not justify the cost. The prices of the food did not reflect the menu descriptions, portion sizes, or overall dining experience.
The service only added to the frustration. The waitress seemed forgetful and inattentive. She never asked what type of drinks we wanted and showed little concern for customer service. On top of that, the food took much longer than expected to arrive, especially considering how minimal the portions were.
To make matters worse, the dessert prices were just as unreasonable. The berry cheesecake cost about $9 for a single slice, which felt completely unjustified given the overall experience. The most concerning issue, however, came when we reviewed our receipt and discovered that an $18 gratuity had been charged twice, totaling $36. This error went unnoticed by the waitress and had to be brought to her attention by my husband. While the manager did eventually refund the extra $18, this situation should never have happened in the first place.
Overall, this restaurant fell short in every major area—food quality, portion size, pricing transparency, and service. My advice to anyone considering dining here is to carefully read the reviews beforehand and, if you do choose to eat here, double-check your receipt before leaving. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this restaurant anytime soon.
