Best place around! Had the delight of speaking with the owner, Patty, when we went in. She was scooping ice cream so her worker could have the day off. Gave us the history of the place as her father owned the pharmacy and soda fountain there. She is usually the chef and can be found in the kitchen during the week. She makes everything from scratch daily so if you have allergies she knows exactly what’s in the menu items. The ice cream is top notch and the nostalgia can’t be beat. There is a lot of history displayed throughout so if you’re a history buff you’ll learn a lot about the area on your visit; especially if you say hello to Patty! Prices are the best in the county! Great place for families, couples, or the solo person looking for a quiet respite and a quick bite. Highly recommend!

Nice place. Food was different from what I’m used to. I’m not saying it was bad, just different. I ordered the beef, cheddar, and onions. A half order would have been plenty of food for me. The chicken salad has cranberries mixed in. Next time, I’ll try a shake or float. Prices are very reasonable.

This place is amazing. Food prices were very affordable and everything is home made. It is also like stepping back in time to an old soda shop. The owner cooks all the food from scratch and she is super friendly. We went there every day for brunch. My favorite place to eat in Michigan.
