We went to the lions den pizza tonight for supper in Marshall. The pizza was phenomenal but that’s not all. We had the buffet and it was pretty great. We were the only ones in there and the owner came out.
He grabbed our drinks for us and asked us what we would like on the buffet which was already pretty full for us being the only ones in there. We said it was fine what was there.
Anyway we get about halfway done eating and he notice the buffet warmer wasn’t on so he brought us out two fresh pizza to our tables and apologized. We hadn’t even noticed, the pizza was still good we thought!
He then brought us to go boxes and told us to take the rest home. Really phenomenal service and phenomenal pizza!

The pizza is always good! They have a nice variety. What I love most is how focused they are on the kids in the community. From reading programs to first jobs. Great family atmosphere and food is prepared pretty quickly!

We had the buffet and they put what kind of pizzas we asked for on it. We had 8 in our group and just about all of us wanted something different. Our waitress was always asking to give refills and making sure we were taken care of.
Update a week later: we asked what the garlic bread with cheese was and she said we cut a hoagie bun into 2 pieces and add cheese to the top. Well no cheese was on it. We ordered the pizza that says on the menu it has extra sausage and extra cheese on it ($25), well it didn’t have any more sausage or cheese than the pizzas we had in the buffet the week before. Very let down this trip!!!

Food came out kinda slow to buffet, but the customers increased quickly while we were there. Way smaller dining area than I had expected! Once the food hit the buffet it was obviously super fresh, but depleted instantaneously!! What we had was good. Regular and thicker crust pies were really good! The really thin was not to my liking…personal preference only, didn’t get to try what looked like “Detroit style”. Super small salad bar, but fresh and good, cold temperature. We will definitely go again…nothing like this really left in Terre Haute and I always prefer Mom & Pop places.

My first time there, we ordered fried pickles as a appetizer which was clumped together. Ordered a pizza that was suppose to a BBQ chicken pizza, when it finally got served to us it was raw, no BBQ sauce, little chicken, no color to the crust, looked disgusting!!!. We had no choice but to get up and leave! I wouldn’t even given it to a straving animal or leave alone a human being.

Lions Den has an affordable buffet which includes all you can eat pizza, salad and the special side of the day. They also have a full menu to order from. Online ordering and delivery available. Dough is made fresh daily. Very clean and family friendly. The owners Anne and Cory are always giving back to the community and schools. During lunch Lions Den offers discounted pricing for students and school faculty. Lunch can get pretty busy the first hour open with the students/teachers but always worth the stop for delicious affordable food. A must try!

I ordered the Spaghetti dinner and breaded mushrooms. The Spaghetti came with a salad, meatballs and garlic bread. Everything was delicious, especially the mushrooms and it was delivered sooner than expected. 10/10 I will definitely be ordering again soon.

Well everyone is right you can’t get a refill here they’re too busy playing on their phones or talking. Price is decent but Pizza is pretty bad flavored I haven’t tried a fresh one on the buffet and it wasn’t very good at all. I can’t recommend this place for anything.

7 of us service was excellent we had the lunch buffet salad bar was clean lettuce,veggies and salads fresh. Plenty of hot pizza and breadsticks. Our drinks were always refilled without our asking and plates taken away. The pizza is the best of the best. Friendly atmosphere casual dress. They gave me the short birthday song and got on their knees it was great. Always a pleasure to eat at the lion’s den. Also very reasonable.
