We stopped by at Lions Den to grab an iced latte purely because the reviews were great and they offer coconut milk choice as dairy alternative. I ordered Caramel Biscotti Latte and it was delicious- perfect texture and balanced taste. There is plenty of tables to sit inside. Can’t wait to be back to try more lattes and I’m sure it would be a great evening to sip an iced latte while seating outdoors on their patio in warm weather.

Stopped in after picking up pellets @Dean’s. Got a chai and a scone. Both Delicious my chai was perfect made with oat milk and the put a little less chai concentrate so it was not too sweet scone just the way I like it.( without all that sugar on top) definitely like homemade

Love this little gem! Great coffee & breakfast sandwiches. Large variety of pastries, muffins & bagels. Large variety of freshly made desserts. Lunch/sandwich menu looks great, too, but haven’t tried it (yet). Comfortable atmosphere. Very quaint & cozy. Nice ambiance; 2 fireplaces. Plenty seating indoors & outdoors. Prices are great. Would spent the same amount of money, if not more, for burnt coffee & a microwaved ultra-processed breakfast sandwich at Dunkin. Lion’s Den has always served up fresh ingredients & I’ve never been disappointed.

Stopped on our way home for 2 iced matcha lattes with almond milk and lavender. Total was $20.38 which is the most expensive matcha we have EVER had. Save yourself the time and money and just go to Starbucks for a venti (this one was 20oz.). This was almost $2 bucks more than my venti iced matcha latte with almond milk, sugar free vanilla and nondairy cold form. Never again.

THE BEST COFFEE, PERIOD!!
Absolute must try — they have many options/offerings. The mocha latte is my favorite. I always put a gift card in our holiday gift swap and everyone wants it because lions den is truly the best. One of our favorite places to spend an afternoon. Online ordering is also clutch for the days we are on the go. I also love that they’re family owned and always giving back to the community.

I’ve been coming to Lion’s Den for over a year now, and it’s easily my favorite espresso spot. The espresso is always rich and flavorful, the food is spectacular, and the atmosphere makes it easy to relax or get work done. But what truly sets Lion’s Den apart is the staff. They are absolutely top tier.
This place makes me feel like family. I’m always greeted with a warm, friendly smile, and that kind of genuine care keeps me coming back. I actually look forward to my morning visits here because it’s more than just coffee. It’s an experience filled with good vibes and great people.
And the food? As a New Yorker, I’m picky about my bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches, but theirs on a bagel gets my seal of approval! The Asiago and sesame bagels are both fantastic. Their classic avocado toast is a zesty treat, and you can’t go wrong with any of their pastries. Some standouts for me are the Nutella croissant, torta della nonna, cinnamon roll, apple danish, and the hazelnut sfogliatella (the lobster-tail style pastry). Each one is a delight.
For drinks, my go-to latte flavor is hazelnut, and theirs tastes amazing. I’d also highly suggest trying the Biscoff cookie latte if it’s available. It’s such a unique treat.
Lion’s Den is the perfect mix of quality and community, and I couldn’t recommend it more!
PS: I wish I had more pictures, but with food this good, you can’t stop to take a pic.

Whenever I go to Connecticut to visit my family, this coffee shop is my top choice. As a self-proclaimed coffee lover, I really wish we had a place like this closer to home because it’s simply amazing. The lattes here are incredibly tasty, made with single origin coffee and offering high-quality non-dairy alternatives. The staff is extremely friendly, and the atmosphere is both relaxing and inviting, perfect for sitting back and enjoying the moment. It’s time to bid farewell to those generic corporate chain coffee shops and show our support for local businesses! ♡

I’ve had to start a low fodmap diet to find out what my food sensitivities are because I can’t take it anymore but I figured it’s ok I can navigate it. After nearly breaking down in a coffee shop I frequent because I didn’t think I could eat anything and I didn’t want to be seen as a difficult person, the staff were very kind and accommodating of putting one of their sandwiches I could eat on top of some green’s. Thank you Lion’s Den for making a vulnerable moment passable and a delicious almond milk caramel latte!

Stopped in for breakfast this morning, looked busy and cozy which was promising but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. We ordered an iced latte which wasn’t the worst but the espresso tasted burnt, my sausage egg and cheese sandwich came thrown together poorly with the top half slide half off the bottom, plus the croissant had sugar sprinkled on it? Didn’t expect to leave a review over just that so I didn’t take an photo until we got around to the yogurt bowl, which we are pretty sure we were given cream cheese instead of the Greek yogurt? We took our food to go and unfortunately didn’t realize that issue sooner to go back.
