Killer roast beef sandwiches since 1967. The recipe for our famous roast beef sandwich is simple: 100% real top round beef. Slow roasted on-site for three hours. Shaved extra thin. Served medium rare on a lightly toasted buttered bun. And topped with a dash of secret seasoning. It’s the same way we’ve done it for over 50 years. Voted Best Fries by St. Louis Magazine.

Counter-serve chain specializing in slow-roasted beef sandwiches served hot on toasted buns.

Usually love this place but today they were off their game. Son ordered the king and it had the same or less meat as the large sandwich. He also received a small fry instead of a large . I tried the southwest melt , not horrible but hardly any cheese , jalapeño and onion , mine was a regular meal and mine had more meat and fries . Cashier said he would add more fries and meat to my kids sandwich but then the “cook/ manager” said he would do more meat cause he weighed it out at the 5.5 ounces . The were busy but customer service was poor on this day. (Picture after he added semi warm fries )

Yum! This is a great LC location — clean, extremely quick, and everything tasted super good and fresh. My only gripe is that they never make my sandwich medium rare. It’s always medium well. Besides that, no problems. Lion’s Choice is a great chain.

This place is pathetic. I ordered the sandwich with 45% more meat. Look at the site photos and compare it to that pathetic thing I got. It was more bread than meat. And that “Bowl” (yeah, sure) of soup was more like ” a cup” broccoli and cheese sauce. It’s all bland and almost tasteless. The good reviews must be friends who won’t tell them they suck, or they are paid people.

Curious to try a new place and as the saying goes curiosity killed the cat. First off not sure how this restaurant survived to become a small chain. As far as the chain goes, the portions are small the price is large. 7 dollar sandwich but 14 dollar meal (adds fries and drink), make that make sense. All sandwiches come doused in sauces so read carefully the contents of each before choosing.
Specific to this location, I came about an hour before closing and the first person was rude, pushy and when I said what size I wanted he had an attitude saying he didn’t know what I was talking about. I had to read the menu for him to comprehend. His attitude was overheard by the manager and she took over. The fries were cooked fresh but nevertheless came out oil drenched and soggy, the sandwiches slapped together, and the macaroni I ordered was still cold not having been heated up sufficiently.
Concerning taste, I again fail to see how this chain has made it. It was best to carry on the evening having not eaten as opposed to allowing the entire meal into my system.
Will not return to any location and definitely will not recommend.

I went through the drive-thru. I love that they ask in the beginning about being a reward member. Some just want you gone and never asked me before and I had to rush and ask. The young man working was very pleasant and my food was good.

Went for lunch, I wish I hadn’t.

My famous simple roast beef sandwich had a thick layer of salt that burned the top of my mouth. Almost threw up on the way out.

Tried their new sandwich. Highly enjoyed it! The fries were hot and yummy. The staff was very friendly and had a fun banter.

This is undoubtedly the best Lion’s Choice I’ve been to. I always had excellent service, and the staff is always busy showing how popular it is with the locals. The store is very clean, and the food is top-notch for a fast-food restaurant.

Came in around 7pm on 10/6. Ordered what we always get. Noticed the prices on the register were not what it says on the menu board. The kids meal says 6.79 but it rang up 9.29. They explained that they charge $1 more for the cookie because they are bigger. I didn’t come here to feed my kid a cookie for dinner but whatever. What about the rest of the difference? The guy in charge insisted that the price in the register was the right price despite turning around and seeing the price on the menu board and refused to honor the advertised price. I am not paying over $9 for a kids meal. We left and went next door to Burger King. Her kids meal there was $4 and it still came with a small cookie. Not coming back

I ordered orange crème shakes and they came with dirty lids covered in a brown goop. When I asked the employee what it was he just said the rim of the machine was dirty with chocolate. I asked him to please clean it off and he just handed the cups back with the dirty lids and shut the windows in my face. A guy with a light brown ponytail. It’s been very unpleasant the past few times I’ve been to this location – food especially has been icky. Sad to see it because it used to be my ol favorite.
