We tried this place due to its reputation for gluten free options. Hubby got the King roast beef sandwich and he got enough roast beef for 3 sandwiches. He LOVED their gluten free bun. They also have a dedicated fryer for French fries. I had the gluten free chicken strips that tasted fine but the portion was skimpy. I think others with larger appetites might leave hungry. The salad on the other hand was fresh and huge. I could only eat half. This was the first time at a Lion’s Choice and 2 counter people were a bit rude when I didn’t know I was supposed to take my salad out of the cooler and for another incident. Also, none of the sauces or dressings are listed in the nutrition guide. For a business that does such a great job addressing gluten issues, I was surprised they are ignoring possible allergy issues in this part of their menu. We will probably eat her again but we won’t my rushing back.

Great experience. I don’t review places often but the manager on duty was on it and super helpful. Fries hot and roast beef cooked perfectly.

Terrible food. Terrible service.
If it is called “lions choice” I guess lions must like cold, tasteless, greasy food given to them slowly and with disrespect because that is the only thing you will get here.
This is seriously a place to avoid. I ordered from the drive thru and first off, it took a lot longer than most drive thrus. They also got my order wrong and were disrespectful. They did not give me the right food. They also gave me a drink with no straws.
Also, the food is terrible. The fries were super cold, unsalted, and covered in grease. The grease was about the only thing that made the otherwise cold fries edible. The sandwich was also terrible. It was smashed and it was cold. Also, for the ten or so dollars one would expect the sandwich to be a bit bigger. They didn’t have any cheese or sauce on it and they didn’t put mayo in the bag, even though I had asked for mayo.
This place tries hard to be an Arby’s and failed. And this particular location also fails at any sort of restaurant service as well.
DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Listen. I eat a lot of Lion’s Choice. This particular instance, tonight, this Brentwood location absolutely crushed my delivery order. I asked for rare, the beef was rare as can be. I asked for a bunch of au jus, they gave me a piping hot styrofoam cup full (it’s winter, nice touch). I asked for extra seasoning on my sandwiches, extra seasoning clearly present. The fact that this order was delivered and was still this good blows my mind, can’t say enough, 10/10. My next visit will be in person simply so I can tip the staff.

Skip this location on the weekend. The staff DO NOT want to be working. 3/3 orders messed up. Super skimpy on meat. Don’t waste your money here.

I have to say, I have had a lot of fast food, but this might be the friendliest fast food place I have ever been to. The dude running the counter was super nice, taking care of my wife and I like it was a fancy restaurant. They have some classic music playing, people were hanging out talking to each other as they ate, and not just at their own tables. It felt like a community in that store that night, like a British pub (without any alcohol, of course.) It was odd for a fast food place, but we will be going back often, since it was so fun and refreshing to see in modern times. Kudos to the counter guy for making our night great.

Our family ate at this location twice on our trip to St. Louis. Both times the person (different people) taking our order at the front counter was rude and seemed to have an attitude. We felt like a burden to them. Would definitely not come back for this reason. Food was decent.

First time here. Was expecting a sandwich similar to Arby’s but the roast beef is like minced meat. Couldn’t even eat the sandwich as it fell apart. Fries were really good though…

Order a baked potato, with cheddar expecting real cheddar cheese. Instead is the soupy non-cheese sauce that is gross.
I didnt think anyone should ruin a bake potato…. but they managed to

Service was fast and friendly. However, my fries were lukewarm and my sandwich wasn’t much better. I ordered a large roast beef and swiss well done. The meat should have been hot so the cheese should have melted. Being an ex-Lion’s Choice employee, many many years ago, I know that in order to cook the beef to well done you have to put it on the steamer; unless something has changed. The lemonade didn’t taste very good. I threw it out. The food was good. Lion’s Choice never seems to disappoint where taste is concerned. I do wish my food would have been hotter; it would have been more enjoyable.
