Came here after leaving Lucky’s (poor service) and was pleasantly surprised. Bartender kept my drinks full, guests around me talking about the games on the TV. Walked down to Brewlands for a quick Togo order that Linksters actually called in for me. Great service. Will come back Sunday.

I used to come here atleast once a week, the last time I went I wasn’t paying the bar tab my date was. Apparently he didn’t leave a tip he was pretty toasted. As we were getting in the vehicle to leave one of the bar tenders asked yelled was there something wrong with the service? We live off tip! At this point my date was too intoxicated for me to go back in. I drove him home, had my brother drive me back in dates truck to get my vehicle. I guess they must of been slow and closing as I was getting in my car the same bar tender was yelling out the door about how they live on tips etc etc. now had i known I would have corrected it immediately, given the state of my date I didn’t really have a lot of time to deal with the no tip situation as I have always tipped or tried to tip well. Needless to say I have not been back and not sure I will go back. Most of these bar tenders know me by name this could have been handled in a more professional way. I visit a lot of the local dive bars (watering holes) I will be avoiding this moving forward, no one wants to be yelled at like that by someone in a customer service role! Shame and when I think of it that night most of the bar tenders were standing at one end of the bar I sit outside so other than pouring me a shot of patron and handing it to me, I was going in every time to get a beer etc.

I find this place a hidden gem located in Lakeland, FL off of 98. I will tell you why. The place is modern and clean. It has 14 large plasma TVs so you can watch sports. It has a pool table. It has a bowling machine. It has 2 electronic dartboards. Prices are very reasonable. The service and atmosphere are very pleasant. They have an outdoor patio that is covered and it has 2 large TVs. This is where I take my dogs. It is dog friendly. The barmaid came out with a bowl of cold ice water and dog treats for my dogs. I watched the game and had a few cold ones. The groups that hang out here are between mid 20s and mid 60s. There is also a barmaid her name is Brandy she looks like Cindy Crawford. This is why I call it a hidden gem. It is a great place to hang out, watch sports and have a few cold ones. Bring your dogs. Dogs are welcome. You will love this place.

Its a pretty good place to get to know someone or have a drink in a nice atmosphere it’s calmer then most bars but that doesn’t mean its any less then great. The bar tenders are all characters of their own . You’ll definitely have a good time. There’s 2 dar stands and 1 pool table. Beautiful bar and booths.
