First time visiting Link & Pin and it didn’t disappoint. Our server Jessica was amazing. She was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. She made several recommendations and right about every single one. I had the Lake Love and Berry Lemon Drop (spiked) and they were very tasty. We had the tuna poke, a couple of steaks, the shrimp and grits, the scallops, the halibut. Sides were brussel sprouts, regular fries, truffle fries and the mushrooms. Donuts for dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious. I cannot wait to go back. Will try their brunch next!

This year my family and I decided to have my mother’s 75th birthday dinner at Link & Pin Arboretum and they did not disappoint!
The restaurant smells amazing when you first step foot through the revolving front door. All of the staff were very welcoming and accommodating for my rather large group.
The appetizers, main courses, drinks and desserts were all amazing!

We went for my husband’s work dinner, and honestly, the nice ambiance doesn’t compare to the food and service, but unfortunately, I’m not saying that in a good way. I appreciate that the waiters were friendly, but their service was extremely slow and forgetful, in fact, my husband was asked several times what kind of whiskey drink he wanted, only for them to bring him the wrong one after an hour… As for the dishes, I have to say they were of very average to low quality, nothing impressive. The bacon was a weird, uncomfortable combination between be very sweet and spicy, the rice in the cauliflower bowl was hard in some parts even though it was sticky, and the gyozas tasted like they came from a package. I have to say the lobster bisque was good as well as their bread, but my husband’s Caesar salad was oversaturated with dressing (which I tried some and ended up giving me heartburn that I could still taste it in my discomfort), and for the main course, my filet, even though it was cooked to my liking on the inside, was somehow dry on the outside, and the side dishes were nothing special, very ordinary. Finally, the sharable desserts were extremely sweet, and this is the first time I haven’t liked a bread pudding, even though it’s our favorite dessert; it tasted like store-bought French toast sticks.
I’ve visited many steakhouses and expensive restaurants over the years, and this is one of the worst I’ve ever tried. I found their culinary concept to be very poor, completely lacking in creativity, and the prices were exorbitant for the low quality offered. Luckily, we didn’t have to pay anything and enjoyed excellent company, which allowed us to laugh and have a good time despite the disappointing food.

Very disappointed with our meal. A birthday celebration that didn’t even rise up to mediocre. The wings were so hard, dry and charred that they were inedible. When a whole platter of wings comes back to your kitchen, I’d recommend asking why. Our reservation was at 7 and I’d venture to guess those wings had been cooked and just sat under a heat lamp. I actually don’t know how you could make wings so hard. They were like plastic. But that aside the most aggravating was my grand daughter’s fish dinner. It smelled like week old fish. So foul. Covered with peppers and sauce obviously not a very elevated dish but underneath you honestly could not tolerate the smell. No we didn’t complain but we should have. It was a birthday and none of us wanted to create a distraction from our celebration. The Cajun chicken pasta made my husband physically ill. He was sick most of the night. This was honestly the worst experience we’ve ever had here. For the price point these issues just shouldn’t be the case.

Very pleased. We almost didn’t dine here, because of the 4.3 review. I really don’t understand the rating. Our server was fantastic, the menu was outstanding, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. We’ll be back.

Came here with a small group to have dinner and a meeting. Might be a little too dark to have a meeting lol but we enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. We were able to try each other foods but I personally ordered the Cajun chicken pasta with shrimp and it was delicious! Everyone enjoyed their food.

Valentines review from a foodie!
I was nervous that we had reservations here because of some reviews & overall, our food experience in Charlotte hasn’t been amazing. However, I was so pleasantly impressed!!!
Alexis was our server and she was AMAZING. So sweet & personable, and she took great care to help recommend menu items, answer any questions, and made sure my filet was how I like.
The bread was wonderful & loved the truffle fries. Flounder was some of the best fish we’ve ever had!!!! The Nutella budino is a must order dessert!
Was also so grateful that they had NA drink options. The berry lemon drop is one of the best mocktails I’ve ever had.
The only downside on the place was that we had a reservation and did still have to wait a while to be sat, but that’s expected on one of their busiest days of the year. The lounge was really comfy and pretty to wait in!

I don’t usually write reviews because I worked in the service industry for so long and they can be very skewed. However, I feel like I need to tell this story of how a bad-ish experience turned me into a customer for life.
Came in for brunch with some friends. Caleb was our server. From the start he was great. Cracking jokes, very personable taking us through the steps of service. My buddy ordered a burger and me and our wives ordered eggs Benedict. One of my all time faves. I actually kind of don’t go to places that don’t have it for brunch/breakfast cause I’m weird and always have it when dining out for breakfast.
Anyways, food comes and all three of our dishes had poached eggs that were cooked harder than the hardest boiled eggs I’ve ever seen. No run, a dark yellow hard yolk. Normally would just suck it up but for the prices we’re paying I kind of expect it done right. We all send it back to the kitchen.
The manager comes over (I didn’t remember his name) and apologizes, offers to comp our apps (didn’t even want that and was so appreciative for the gesture). When our food returns, Caleb accidentally dropped one of my friends newly cooked poached eggs on the floor. He was clearly frustrated and embarrassed and so apologetic. No sweat man, it happens.
From the start to finish Caleb and the manager handled the negative situation with grace and gave absolutely excellent service. I’ve ran bars and restaurants my whole life and someone told me a long time ago that you can create a lifelong customer by handling a bad situation properly and promptly. The service truly did save the whole experience. Btw when the food came back out it was A1. Thank you to the amazing staff here for a great brunch experience. Crap happens all the time, they handled it so well and I was sincerely impressed. Go for brunch ask for Caleb! The Bloody Marys were amazing.

Brunch was excellent. Mimosa tray was worth it, eggs Benedict was incredibly good, hash brown casserole was top-notch. Service was attentive and efficient – Alex was lovely. Highly recommend for a relaxing Sunday meal.

Wonderful first experience at Link and Pin for my dad’s birthday! So many menu options it was hard to choose. Wine and drink menu is on an iPad which is very convenient. Glass of red was spectacular and nicely priced. Staff was amazing from start to finish even giving my dad a card for his birthday. Food was spectacular! Appetizers were tasty and the meal portions were HUGE. We were in the glass window room overlooking the fountain outside and it was amazing. Want to experience their great outdoor space during warmer months. Will definitely be back!!!
